And no, i am not 25 i am 18 myself.

It seems that this Generation is ****ed. How bad is it when fat women reject skinny men because of looks.

Personality/confidence doesn't mean manure for them (18 year olds) unless you have a cute face. (no, i am not hitting on models ).

-Only face matters. It´s funny how WE men are supposed to proof our self for females when most of them have nothing to offer at that age beside from looks. No, you have to proof yourself to me.

People here claim they have a 387 lbs friend who is balding ,5´2 , has 1 foot who is ****ing cute girls, NEVER in my life have a seen such a guy.....why? because it doesn't happen women are visual. :lmao:

Amen :bunny:

It gets better with age. Teenagers are mostly about looks because in addition to being attracted to you they also want someone to show off to their jealous female friends, someone who is instantly increasing their own value in social circles.

This effect often extends well beyond the the teenage years and is not limited to just women.

I just wanted to give this guy a break, he is clearly going through a tough time.

But fine, be that guy... yes, what you are saying is true - although I absolutely make the claim that teenage girls are like that the most and the strongest.

Of course also older men can by like that on occasion, but for teenage girls it is pretty much default behaviour.

I'm simply bringing balance to the universe...there's one of you, so there has to be one of me...

As can teenage boys...and older women...and middle-aged women...and middle-aged men...it is independent of both age and gender...life is one big d*ck-measuring contest for both men and women, and we each use the other gender as the ruler...

If it's any consolation, the teenage years are sexual desert for most guys (when we need sex the most). Have you tried going for obese girls? It's not ideal, but it will help take the edge off. I'd also save up some money and visit an escort if I were you.

I am not a bad looking guy (in better shape than most guys, buy good cloths, take care of myself). So i am not going for some fat girl i want the same on the table as i give!

I am looking for a relationship material girl, so paying for sex is off.

As far as some people claim that you are wrong on here i have to say you are right to a degrees. I approach women all the time.

Looks are everything in teens. I laugh when my female friends claim they go for personality even they can´t tell the truth.

Are you just trying to be politically correct and over-anti-generalizing, or do you really not believe that teenage girls are more typically like this than any of those groups you just mentioned?

No, I would agree that teenage women can exhibit that trait more than others...though I was responding primarily to the bolded above...the particular words you used seemed to imply that your theory only applied to older men as an exception...I was merely stating that all ages and genders are susceptible to that behavior, not just teenage girls and older men.

I agree, I was just using older men as the example as they are like the "opposite" of young women. I couldn't bother making a list like you did ..

I went for personality. I didn't throw myself at the boy who was mostly considered the best-looking boy in school (also one of my best friends - I met him the day he moved into my neighbourhood). He had a lot of girls doing that, but his looks didn't really do it for me - he was kind, though, and that was why I liked him. Meanwhile, I had a crush on a boy who looked nothing like D. Two schools later, I crushed on a very funny and smart nerd.

Then you are the expection.

All that matters to these girls is looks. They claim they go for personality when the guy is as entertaining as Chewbacca.

If you read her post closely, she is not so much an exception. She said "his looks didn't really do it for me".

Meaning she wasn't very attracted by his looks. She didn't need him for validation as she was seen talking to him in public anyways. Rather have a hot platonic friend you aren't attracted to with you throughout years than a romantic friend with you for only a few weeks or months.

Makes perfect sense she acted that way, actually.

Although I kind of have to disagree with you on one thing: You always act as if those girls where so god awfully hypocritical. I don't think this is the case. They might tell you they go for other stuff to be kind. But once they talk within themselves, oh boy.. they can be pretty frank about wanting a tall, muscular guy with a hot face.

Hm. I see.

You say you have female friends. Have you tried taking them back to your place, getting them drunk, and making a move?

I have asked out few of them but all rejections. So nahh that not a option. I just have to find a decent girl who likes me.... God that will take time.

In my opinion finding a decent person no matter the age is a hard task.

Telling that to you this generation is f*cked because fat women reject skinny based because of looks when likely since civilization began fat men were rejecting skinny women because of looks. :lmao:

Personality/confidence often doesn't mean sh*t to most people unless they're attracted to you it's not a gender thing exclusive to women or exhibited more in women.

I'd say men choose women based on 95% looks, while women choose men based on 65% looks. Of course women's standards are much, much higher.

Slender women getting rejected? I've never seen that happen in my entire life. Maybe it's an age thing.

Different views as I'd say generally women choose men based on 50% looks and men choose women based on 100% looks considering how many women consider men they don't find attractive while I highly doubt men approach women they find unattractive.

I highly doubt that women's standards are much much higher than men though even if so it seems many women don't adhere to them. :lmao:

Different experiences as I've seen many slender gals rejected as it seems being thin doesn't automatically equate to attractive or negate many men's standards for age, facial features, boobs, and/or the butt.

I was, and I wouldn't want someone dating me solely because I was skinny.

Why the Fu-ck would a 18year old GIRL need to prove herself to a 18year old guy? Usually, 18 years old have nothing to offer and they live with their parents. I wouldn't bang a 200 LB girl that is 5'2 with 1 foot, so guys are about physical traits as well. Sorry if you are ugly but we got to live with our genes.

Try to put this in reverse and return with a different attitude. Then the thread will be much more perfect.

This thread and most of the responses are ridiculous!

90% of the people here in the dating forum get their validation, self-worth, self-esteem, identity, value, happiness, approval from what they think the opposite sex thinks about them or if they are dating / with someone or not.

This is why 90% of you are miserable and why most of you can't buy a date, much less keep anyone around.

Now to answer the question...

An 18 year old male or female doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground and if you are getting your validation, self-worth, self-esteem, identity, value, approval based on what an 18 year old kid thinks, does, doesn't do... You are pathetic. Not to mention, you shouldn't be looking for a "forever" relationship at this age to being with. Just have fun, date around, have success, have failure, crash and burn, get lucky here and there, etc. Don't take yourself or 18 year olds seriously! Both of you are total idiots anyway.

They are extremely immature, have no dating / life experience, think they know it all, think they are invincible, attitude, rebellious, shallow, insecure, insensitive, superficial, scared out of their mind, don't know who they are, what they want, have a clue what love is, take things for granted, impulsive, self-absorb, etc.

Most parents have a very difficult time having a relationship with their own 18 year old kid. If that doesn't tell you anything... You are pathetic and dumb on top of it.

Let me cut through the BS and tell you what the problem is...

I see good looking, ugly, fat, short, tall, rich, poor, average, athletic, dumb, smart, blue collar, white collar, etc. people dating and married couples all around. I was in a restaurant and out on the town last night. I saw all kinds or various couples and married people everywhere I went.

If you aren't dating... QUIT BLAMING EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE ELSE!

If you aren't dating... YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY PROBLEM!

If you aren't dating... DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Finding a decent girl who wants to date me is hard. Most want some prince superman alpha king looking dude. Even if they look like garbage themselfs

Welcome to the real world. It took me until my mid-30s. Granted I met a few women who liked me in my life...most of them were psychos and/or had issues.

It's rough at 18. Most of the time it does become about looks and money, mainly because most women at that age are looking for fun/excitement over long-term.

My suggestion is go to school, get educated, build a career, and continually self-improve yourself (physically and mentally). As you get older you'll end up meeting women who will like you, but you'll also see most of those women who reject you end up alone when Mr Perfect never comes.

You are one of my favourite posters on here, so there must be some truth in it.

The problem is if i will be inexperienced at 20+ then i doubt any decent girl will think i am sane.

All my friends have some experience unless 1-2 other guys i know. 1 is considered ugly by women and the other one is shy and average.

i am still pretty strange dude irl, one of my female friend has told me

few times that she thinks i am so roasted that my brain is melting out.

That's merely because everyone wants an 18yo female - and they are in such high demand that most are willing to sacrifice on the "decent" part.

As a result there is practically zero incentive for any of the new crop of 18yo females to remain decent.

Those forces tugging at such holy grail, along with the greater pull that is merely their turning 19, assures that the only persons who have it tougher than you do are photographers at 'Just Eighteen'.

Calm down. I'm sure if right now you're not getting the girls, you will get at least one in a few years...unless you're some total socially inept momma's boy who lives in a basement and barely talks to anyone.

When I was 18, I was still "girl repellent". I didn't even finally get to dating until my early 20s. Some guys are lucky and have the traits women want at 18, so they get the girls. For the rest who don't...it's why I preach to work out, learn to dress well, make friends and learn to be sociable, and get an education that leads to a career.

What blows my mind about most of the "30 and 40 year-old virgins" I see out there is they lived the life that Steve Carrell played in the movie. They maybe fail a little in their teens, then fall into a low self-esteem funk that leads them to a secluded life of video games, internet porn, and other "nerd-centric" hobbies that women aren't deeply turned on by.

NOW...there isn't anything wrong with things like collecting comic books, or bugs, or stamps, or following sci-fi or horror. The problem is these particular people tend to ONLY do that. I mean, they could join a local softball team, or go running and train a little to run local marathons, or take up cooking, or study economics on the side and make money investing.

So they reach 30 and suddenly come on message boards claiming they never had a date, or a kiss, and they are virgins. Yeah, they'll venture out to a bar or club to try to meet women, but I sometimes think they do it to deliberately fail and thus come home to claim "all women are shallow".

I'm just telling you that if "finding a great woman" and "getting married" and especially "have a family" are goals you have in your life, then you have to not waste this time now "waiting", thinking at age 30 the girls will "come around". By that age the good ones are married off and the rest have careers, thus only wanting tall, handsome yuppies to sexually satisfy them.

Use your time. Get an education in a CAREER-WORTHY FIELD. Work hard to be the guy who gets the job out of college rather than face years of unemployment while you job hunt. If you think you could stand to lose weight and get more toned, do it. If anything, you'll add years to your life.

Study, work, stay healthy, and especially just learn to be a social butterfly in some respects. Be the guy who can go into a party and strike up conversations with everyone. Be the guy people find friendly and cool...not the recluse who sits in the corner or doesn't bother coming.

The girls will come. This is their time to go out, make mistakes and thus you can separate the mature women from the perpetual teenagers as you age.

You'd have to be running at about 100 mph to float over water; getting an 18 year old is much easier.
