I was unpacking some things into my new place and found a DVD of my ex-fiancee's. We've been in NC since April.

I plan on sending it back to her, but she also owes me a large sum of money she has yet to pay me back for. She promised multiple she'd start putting the money in my account in April and not suprisingly, I haven't seen a dime.

What I want to do is send the DVD to her along with a letter to remind her that I've been more than patient with her about this situation and I'd like to have that money.

What would be the best way to do this without coming off as brash but wanting to give her a sense of urgency?

Here's what I'm thinking about writing...

Here's your DVD you asked about in February.

I want my money you owe me for your car. I've been more than patient in waiting and you DID promise me multiple times you'd start making me payments starting in April. I gave you an ultimatum that would erase the debt and you refused. It's August now, please do the right thing as I was very generous in loaning you money in your time of need.

Here's my account#: XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXXX

Short and to the point. What do you guys think?
