My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months now. He is having some career issues. He is trying to start a business and he sometimes losses faith in himself because it is proving to be too hard.

To add to that, his ex is due to give birth to his child any time now. he is going through a lot. He recently toook a loan to help him start his business, but now he has to use some of the money to cater to his pregnant ex. after catering for her he is falling short of the amount he needs for his business. He is really stressed out. He asks me for advice and tells me that he doesnt know where to turn or what to do. i just dont know how to be a supportive girlfriend in this situation because I dont know what to do. I just want to see him happy.

Any advice and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Maybe he should look for a job in his business and learn how they became successful while earning a steady income.

Why would you get involved with someone who has a pregnant ex? Nothing but trouble.

How can someone have career issues without a career? What is this business he's trying to start? Does he have any background or qualifications in that industry or business is general?

This is a hot mess.

This is too much for one girlfriend to fix.

He needs to help himself and focus on being a father and getting his life in order. You need to probably find someone who has their d#$& together more than this guy.

be supportive by focusing on the upcoming birth of his child more than his career. he's going to need money, and lots of it, when the baby comes along, and starting a business will take a backseat for a while - you'll see :-) help him to get focused on finding a steady income/job and advise him to pursue his own thing once he is more stable and perhaps in a job similar to the business he wants to start.

Go to Walmart for your clothes. so he can save money and spend it on EX.

Here's one for you ... How about seeing yourself happy?

Someone just told me about a book, "How to Act Like a Lady, but Think Like a Man."

Here's 5 questions fromthe book:

My ex would've failed the first.

If only I'd known, and used my brain a bit before getting involved.

This is too much, sweetie ... move on.

If you cant give him any good advice that he's looking for, then just keep patting him on the back when he needs it. Dont try to push yourself in there, take the back seat and back off. Only because if you try to help him with no answers you'll just stress him out more and frustrate him.
