amaysngrace Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I think you need bigger arms but I wouldn't call you scrawny.
pteromom Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Not scrawny at all. I'd definitely raise an eyebrow at you if I saw you walking along the beach.
Jamesblame Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Haha you guys are such jerks. Dude, you look fine. Just eat healthy, work out, and be confident. You won't attract every woman....but why would you want to? I'm sure there's tons of girls who are interested in you. Embrace your body type and move on. Personality and behavior is much more important. And for the record, I have a slender/athletic bodytype. Low fat, average weight, average height...and I've never had a problem finding women who think I'm attractive. Screw the other ones, haha. 3
Titanwolf Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Wouldlickicecreamoffyourchest/10 (all homo). Seriously though, what ever happened to self-assurance? If you think you're scrawny, do something about it, otherwise continue as you were. People these days make my head spin man
Author O'farrell Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 you look like a short guy.. i'd say 5'6... 155. Pretty close. 5'7 151 this morning. 1
yessy21 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Pretty close. 5'7 151 this morning. YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! i know my meausermentssssss!!! (Doing the winners dance) My ex boyfriend had the same meaurements... at the end of the day... its what your energy gives out. you could be 5'1 with the aura of a 6 foot tall man. if you dont convince yourself... you cant convince others. 2
proseandpassion Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I'm not sure If you're trying to find a reason to post some pics or getting an honest opinion but hell I won't bust your balls for it...this time. Anyway, are you scrawny? To me you are, but I'm 6'1 215 pds...I have a long large torso, wide back with broad shoulders...naturally muscular type but not in good/toned shape (but I'm older and it'll happen to you too!). My shoulders are wider than yours by a great deal, then I narrow more so at the hip but I'm kind of a fatty right now so you can't tell too well! So standing next to me you look like you'd be pretty small because you look short as well. I don't think you'd have anything to worry about though with women, some guys might tease you though...from what I see women seem to like men your size (your age)...I think most guys aren't that big/tall from my point of view and they seem to be doing fine with women. Now the only problem I see Is if you like them BBW's! Them big girls with chichis the size of your head...you will feel not so manly with the tall, thicker women. So you get to use the excuse that you need to date petite women to fit your size! ahem.... as a "BBW" I'll just say, some scrawny guys like to be smothered in chi-chis. Just sayin'. But OP looks fine.
ascendotum Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Who the hell calls a guy petite? Thats like calling a woman stocky. Makes no sense. That would be the equivalent of a neg on a guy. "Nah you're not skinny, I would say you're more like, petite". To a woman, "nah you're figure is not that bad. You're not fat, relax. I'd say you you're more like, stocky". lol
ascendotum Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 ahem.... as a "BBW" I'll just say, some scrawny guys like to be smothered in chi-chis. Just sayin'. What, slim build guys are more inclined to be fags???
ascendotum Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) If you need reassurance that you look good in STRANGER's eyes, you have bigger problems. I know I'm good looking, I know I have a nice body, I would never ask anyone, yet alone my boyfriend, if I'm good looking. I don't need their approval. I have confidence in myself. Find yours. I agree he is coming off as insecure, and I guess it is likely because he is not having as easy a time getting with the girls he fancies, as he would llike. Difficulty does tend to create insecurity (I agree it does compound things) over what aspect of you is not right. The thing is for most people that reassurance does from strangers. Internal validation is fine, external validation is needed as well. Looking good in the eyes of member's of the opposite is a really big deal when you are single. Edited August 8, 2012 by ascendotum
VodkaShots Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Hell no. You are facially attractive and you have muscle definition. Scrawny is being too skinny with no definition or whatever. Like this
RiverRunning Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 You have a lighter frame, but otherwise you look reasonably toned. Call me? In all seriousness, the people calling him 'insecure' and telling him he needs to find validation within himself: we all should. But often, we develop our view based on how OTHERS who react positively or negatively to us over time. It amuses me - most of the folks who most vehemently espouse the "Get your self-esteem from the inside!" mantra are usually good-looking and they have never had difficulty attracting partners or positive attention from others based on their looks. Of course they'd tell other people to do the same...not realizing others have not had the same framework to start on as they have. 1
RedRobin Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 ... and if you are looking for some inspiration and a goal to shoot towards... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_(Michelangelo) OP, you have the proportions for this... with a bit of effort. "David" is classic for a reason.
FryFish Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Dude, you do look good... Put on 20 lbs of muscle and women wont see your other flaws... whatever they may be... Anyone telling you that what is holding you back is your attitude are lying to you and themselves... Your looks are what get your foot in the door... Your attitude is what determines how long you are invited to stay.
mesmerized Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 You're not scrawny but you're not my type either. 1
mesmerized Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 There are no "types." A guy's either a 9+ or he's invisible to all women. A lot of women like skinnier men actually, I have no idea why but they do.
FryFish Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 A lot of women like skinnier men actually, I have no idea why but they do.They may "like" skinnier guys... but given the choice, they will make the one that evolution has programmed them to make... Taller and Buffer usually wins unless you get to an extreme.

It depends on the girl Iris29 says that she doesn't like any bigger than David Beckham...David Beckham has absolutely no muscle at all. My wrists are bigger than his biceps Generally speaking, athletic/toned girls are the only ones with a clear preference for beefy guys
FryFish Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I have been scrawny... Girls who looked twice at me were few and far between... And I have a pretty good looking face. Buff now, most girls are INCREDIBLY easy. And Im not tall. What Iris29 says and what happens in her subconscious probably arent going to be the same thing... If Beckham put on 20 more lbs of muscle she would be even MORE all over him.

brahmabull117 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I'm not athletic but I absolutely love beefy guys. Something like this - http://oi47.tinypic.com/23w1fo0.jpg Or too big?
mesmerized Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Something like this - http://oi47.tinypic.com/23w1fo0.jpg Or too big? Nothing's too big to me. But I obviously I don't need/expect this big/fit of a guy. 1
brahmabull117 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Nothing's too big to me. Really? Not even this? - http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mnYCXnAET6k/T_ho2R-1VmI/AAAAAAAAALY/mwTxASgWui0/s1600/THE+ROCK21_CLOSE+UP.jpg What is your bodytype if you don't mind me asking? Are you thin, average, athletic, curvy or overweight?
