Would it be ok if a man told a woman that messed with 20 men by 24 the same thing? You know saying she has some explaining to do about why none of the encounters resulted in relationships.

If the situation was reversed, sure. Where there are big disparities in experience and issues to resolve, both people need to do what they can to own their own experience and communicate.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that I've had just about enough of you anti-slut bigotry.

I never called the guy any names. Just saying he needs to take full responsibility for his sexuality and realize it plays a role in her ability to trust him. It's not all on her... nor should she be obliged to overlook it. Not sure what your problem is with that.

I'm sure lots of guys would love to have women shut up about double standards men promote. Too bad.

I love irony; it's probably my favorite form of humor.

Back to the topic, I agree with this:

Her history sounds more complicated than

a bad sexual encounter with an EX. I'd be concerned that she has psychogical trauma predating her ex.

That is also a possibility. Or the root of it could be that the ex -- who was her first, yes? -- was not a good first time experience, and may have been overly rough or abusive with her during sex. She may also have hangups depending on how she was raised, or maybe other body-image problems that started in childhood.

Whatever the cause, I still think some counseling and a doctor's visit is in order.
