I've been doing online dating for a little while now, and I'm curious when do you deactivate your profile? Obviously this depends on whether or not you're a fan of dating several people, or just one, but do you deactivate it after:

1. A very amazing first date?

2. After booking a 2/3 date?

3. After several dates?

4. After sex?

5. After several sexual encounters?

6. After 1-2 months?

7. Longer?

What's your metric?

I usually do it in 2 stages... where the first stage is choosing to "hide" my profile (assuming the site has that feature) or deleting the photos (which is a pretty good way to stop any interest from other parties, especially for a guy) and the second stage is actually deleting it. Sometimes I've done stage 1 after just 1 date, especially if it was on a site like PoF where there's an option to hide your profile from searches (but the person you're still messaging can still see your profile, eg by clicking from their inbox) but sometimes not until having a talk about it with the other person. ie, it depends.

If the first date goes well (which it always does) and there's going to be a 2nd date, If im interested (they always are), then I no longer log on. I freeze my account after about a month of dating but I dont log on after the first date. but the woman check me to see if I do.
