spiderowl Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Have you ever asked a friend to find out if someone is interested in you? I can remember this happening at school age. Have you tried it and did it work?
FitChick Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I think you should write a note on a piece of paper that says: Do you like me? Circle one: YES NO Then give it to your friend to give it to him and run away giggling.
Eternal Sunshine Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Uh no. I just flirt with him and see how he responds. 1
Blastoplast Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I just had a situation like this over the weekend! I'm 28 and this 30 year old girl whom I've had a crush on going back to High School had 3 different friends coming over to me and asking throughout the night if I was interested in her. Now I don't know if they were playing matchmaker, or if she was just asking about me. We both just got out of Long Term Relationships, so maybe she was just curious. I was never able to grab the bull by the horns that night because I got too wasted, but it definitely piqued my interest. Thing is, I never really talked to this girl ever, and barely know her -- but man she's gorgeous and I'd love to take a chance. I've got NOTHING to lose! I just find it funny because it's so juvenile and does bring me back to a simpler time.
Author spiderowl Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 Maybe it's not juvenile but the natural order of things. It cushions both from having to approach the other cold. That seems like a good idea to me.
