I will be 25 as of August and i weigh roughly 108lbs. I know this may seem weird but I want to weigh at least 125!! I am very small boned and am 5'4. My weigh is always like a roller coaster, up and down. I also recently had my tonsils removed for health reasons this last Feb. and was hoping that I would gain after I healed. I lost a lot instead and haven't been able to add any more. I don't feel healthy and am tired all the time(although this could result from running after my two yr old. :p ).

I realize that most people would die to have a figure like mine but NOT ME!!! Any suggestions??

wow that is odd! I felt so heavy at 130 lbs and im 5"5"..people kept teling me i looked best at 110 and i finally reached that yesterday, i exercise and eat better. Why do you want to be 125 at 5'4"?

I understand where you are coming from. I am 5ft 3 and weigh 130 and I still feel too small sometimes. About a year ago I was like 120. I eat throughout the day and especially late at night. I know that my method of maintaining my weight is not the healthiest, but it makes me feel more energetic.

Go see a doctor!!!!!!! Constant fatigue and weight loss are symptoms of all sorts of treatable conditions. Nobody here can diagnose you. I'll just caution you that these can also be symptoms of fairly serious conditions so don't just ignore what I'm saying and listen to other posters - get to a doctor as soon as you can.

I have the opposite problem, but this is how I got there:

DONUTS - yummy

CHOCOLATE - yummy

ICE CREAM - yummy

SODA POP - yummy

Dang, I'm jealous.

Well like I said most people wouldn't understand. I am very thin and my bones show more then I want them to. I eat like a horse so no eating disorders here!!! thanks for the junk food advice though....

Although I may be 5'4 i look taller, I'm lanky. I used to drink a lot of beer, so at one time i was at my desired weight but now I don't care to drink much.

I think I will summon the advice of a doctor. Please know that I am not trying to complain, just wanting to happy like with myself and feel GOOD too. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.

I am 5'6" and 117 pounds. I weighed 108 pounds forever, from the time i was about 16 up until about 2 years ago. I am almost 41 now. The only times I weighed more was when I was pregnant. I tried all kinds of things, protein shakes, weight training, eating like a horse, and I didn't gain weight. My doctor was constantly on my tail about it. I was getting Depo Provera shots for birth control and was told that I would put on weight from this. Nothing. Until about the last two injections ( I took the injections for about 3 years every three months). The I ballooned to 125 pounds in about 60 days. For a while, I actually had breasts! That went away, though, (dang it!) and i have maintained my current weight for about the last year.

I don't know what to tell you except to see your doctor and make sure that there are no medical reasons for your lack of energy. Some people are just skinny. On the one hand, it is nice. Everyone is starving themselves trying to look like you. On the other hand, you don't seem to be comfortable with it. Be careful what you wish for, though. Believe me. I wanted to weigh more, then when I did, I hated it. I would love to be back to my 108 now!

You should go to a doctor so that he can tell you what's the best way to gain weight and how much you should weight. My sister goes to a nutritionist and it has helped her gain weight but in a healthy way without junk food, you should try it!

:bunny: I dont weigh a lot either, and im 5 ft 1 - Im finally finally starting to gain some weight, but the only way it happened was because I started lifting weights, eating more at night, eating more protein in my meals - (when I ate out, just ordering stuff with more meat in it), eating higher calorie snacks, drinking soymilk. Yes, soymilk---just find one that tastes good to you, and you'll be hooked haha. (I like 8th Continent - Vanilla flavor, and Original)

If you can afford it, protein shakes are a good way to pack in some extra cals, but dont get carried away with counting calories, that can just give you a headache and drive you crazy. :p

Dont lose hope, I know how much it stings when people are like "oi! Eat a burger!"

:bunny: thanks, I have tried protein shakes but my tummy has a hard time digesting it. Oh well, I know that I have to eat more protein and give my self a workout routine. I never had soy milk so i will suck it up and try it :( !!!

Thanks for the encouragement and good luck to you too!!!!
