I'm aware how women just LOVE a sense of humor in a man, but in order to be funny people have to GET your joking.

Another friend of mine just now started seeing a woman, they aren't to the point where they're coming together to parties, (probably because they live on opposites sides of town), but he is spending a bit more time with her these days.

He does pretty much the same kind of "bit" with me as he does with anyone else that he knows well.

He'd take something I'd say in a sentence, and try to make it sound funny.

I'd say something like, "Man, the bacon in this sandwitch is kind dry."

And he'd say, "What did you say, you said you got some bacon in your eye??", then he'd expect me to laugh...when I'd really was just correcting myself in order to get him to understand what I said.

And he would REPEAT it back, and I would go, "Oh....oh, ha ha ha ha, funny."

But he does this VERY repetitively.

This woman he's seeing was telling me about her trip to Nevada, and that on the Las Vegas Strip....she went to some favorite Casino of hers.

He says, "Oh, you said you went to Las Vegas to STRIP?!" And she turns to correct him, and he REPEATS it, "OH, I THOUGHT you said, went to Las Vegas to strip!"

I guess that was his form for Innuendo, but to be honest with you, it wasn't funny the first 10 times he's done it either.

That being said, ladies, would this kind of humor turn you off, neutral, or would it make you laugh?

Turnoff, because I agree with you...not funny. I would feel kind of sorry for him.

Uh, that's not funny. At all. That's called annoying...

My man can make me laugh at the drop of a hat - which I really, really hate when I'm annoyed with him. So it makes me even more annoyed.
