The relationship was rocky and really was not going anywhere. I felt like i had fallen out of love with him before Christmas but just couldnt admit it to myself. Now we have split up, we have no contact whatsoever as the break up was on bad terms. In comes Chris.. Chris is a friend of mine that i have known since i was 16 years old, we were together for a year around this time too and it 'first love' type of relationship. For one reason of another we broke it off.. Since the break up with my ex boyfriend Chris has been there and been a good friend to me. We recently have been out on a few dates and it feels like the spark is still there between the both of us. He has admitted that he really likes me a lot.. and i can feel a strong connection between us both. Is it possible for me to move on this fast? I have always had a soft spot for him but my feeling seem have come on way too fast. I've known him for seven years. Please help!

This is common. You've dated this guy in the past... it's years later you're both different people, but the spark is still there. You've known him for seven years, he's not some rando. Just make sure you're not dating him to feed your ego... ask yourself if you can genuinely see yourself dating him. You don't want him to be the reboundee, because then you jeopardize the friendship.
