Ex gf dating someone else

I've made a few posts on here about this break up, me and my ex split after 4 years, it was really hard on me for the first month or so but now I'm starting to take it a lot better as I realize that there are better women out there for me. I just made the huge mistake of checking out her pictures on instagram though, basically there are pictures tagged with some guys name of what I'm guessing to be dates. I know I shouldn't care but this really irks me as she was my first everything and now isn't. Just need some helpful advice on how to be strong in these situations.

i made this mistake after the first month post BU, 5 days of true NC. it tore me up to pieces but in a way i felt i needed to see my ex being involved with other guys to finally let go and she was quickly blocked after that

Someone posted a saying on here and I wish I could claim it but it fit's your situation well. You can't move on to the next chapter if you keep re-reading the one your on.

Dont brake NC.okay you did it this time but dont do it again.keep yourself from checking,i know you re strong enough to do it.You are trying to get up off your knees..for now you can pity both of them.her for all the things she has lost and him coz he is the next victim.

Thanks for the sting words guys, I didn't break NC unless me looking at her picture has to do with NC, and I know it was stupid and I shouldn't have done it I wasn't thinking very straight at the time. From this point on I'm not gonna look even once because I will not let her still have control over my emotions, EMOTIONS ARE FOR ME ONLY! xD
