Author beenburned Posted August 3, 2012 Author Posted August 3, 2012 Furious, They tried for 7 years to have a child! My sister had endometrious(sp?), which made it hard for her to get pregnant. After marrying her MM, she tried to get pregnant again with no luck, until she had surgery to remove the endo. She then got pregnant within a couple of months. Her children are very far apart. Oldest just graduated from college last year, youngest just turned 14. Athena, Our whole family was trying to convince her not to divorce her H. She made a fast decision(6 months), and acted upon it.(which is a whole lot better than the affairs that are dragged out for years) She only confided in all my family about the affair after she knew it was serious and that she was going to divorce. We found out right before going on that last family vacation all together. My former BIL is aware of our knowing briefly before she left him. He is also aware of how we fought hard to change her mind. We have all cried and hugged each other, and moved on with our lives better than most people do after divorces. The whole family has always put the welfare/happiness of the child above whatever feelings we feel. Example: All of us have always sat together at all of the boys sports games.(Even XBIL's new wife and children) They also arranged it so that all of the kids go to the same school even though XBIL doesn't live in that district. The boy has now graduated from college and has always had all of us supporting him in every way possible. It has never been like many horror stories I read and see with other divorced families. Duck soup, I know for a fact my sister has never been promiscuous! She has always had a slight weight problem, and was chubby in HS. Her first H was only one of a few dates she ever had. I will also add, she is very beautiful! She is a natural blond with blue eyes. However you did get one thing right, she is the baby of our family and has always gotten her way about everything. My brother that was born directly before her, died at only 3 days old. I truly think that is why my parents over compensated in her upbringing. silly girl, I will post more later on, as I have a doctor's appt. today!
