rockstarkitty Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I have a crush on this guy at my workplace. We spent almost 2 weeks in the same department while he covered someone's vacation time.. but usually we only cross shifts or he works in another department. During this vacation time I developed a crush on the guy & managed to add him to FB. I thought he was in a relationship so I was just being friendly but found out after he left that he is actually single and looking for a relationship. He was nice and friendly with me, but I of course was being respectful and wasn't giving off flirty vibes. So now all I have is him on FB or brief crossovers at shift change. My question is how do I let the guy know I'm available & interested in him? Some people say I should approach him & say we should get coffee sometime, and yet a book I recently read said girls making first move is a big no no ? or should I chicken out and just PM him on FB? Any advice on this is greatly appreciated.
Emilia Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Can you chat with him first and build up rapport to see whether there is attraction there in the first place? That's how it works, rather than straight asking out
FireCadets Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 maybe if u try seeing him more often and talk more maybe then he'll see that you like him.
