We broke up, kinda, 2 days ago. It was a strange break up. I can't claim to be her bf anymore, but we can still do all of the things we did while officially being together. I didn't give her enough space to experience much with her friends...etc. At first it was an angry breakup but softened up...idk.

Unexpectedly, this morning, she asks me on a date to the fair/carnival. I agreed and we're going this weekend. And I wanted to add, she calls it a date, so I'm pretty sure I'm not just being ignorant about the situation.

Anyways, should I dress extra nice? Should I buy her a gift? Flowers(she's not really into flowers but doesn't mind em)? Plan more after?

Any other tips?

Who broke up with who?

She broke up with me. Like I said, it was strange and a bit back and forth. She gave harsh words at first, she stated we are no longer bf/gf, then said we can still hang out and now this. I'm still doing as little contact as possible, pretty much just replies, no initiating. I have another post just a little further down that explain in detail.

Hm, tough situation since she broke up with you. However, thinking of my situation, I broke up with my bf too and I want him back, so I would be really happy if he brought flowers when we went out. I don't see why it would hurt! :) Nothing more than flowers though.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if a gift would be a good idea. At, least right away.
