Hello all,

Am new here and have been reading posts for awhile now and I have a question to see what is normal. That is, what do you consider having sex with your spouse in a week is normal? I hear some people say 2-3 times a week, some say 4-5 times a week, some even say once a week or once every 2 weeks.

I know there are HD and LD people but what then is considered ND? (normal desire) Or do people think that there is only HD and LD?

I think 2-3 times is normal, but am wondering what other people think.

do you mean "average" or "normal"? These are two different things, and what works for one couple may not be right for others...

if you're asking for averages, here is a link to the Kinsey Institute with that information...

I understand that what works for one couple may not apply to another, but in that statistic what constitutes a few? Is a few 2 or is a few 4 or 5?

Guess its not really a question that will constitute a definitive answer. You will always hear a different number depending on each persons situation

I think I read that twice a week is average (or what you might then considet to be normal).

Of course, this is pretty irrelevant when considering two actual people trying to find the right mix for themselves. That's about compromise and making each other happy and coming towards one another. If either one is quoting statistics of what is normal, they're on the wrong track.
