josation218 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yesterday I was reading a thread that miss_jaclynrae wrote about Fear of approaching" Well I hate to admit this but she actually inspire me to lose my fear of approaching and just go for it... There was this line that she said that just stuck with me and it help me feel more confident about myself. "Let go of the fear guys and just GO for it! What do you have to lose? Looking like an idiot to a stranger who you will probably never see again? So what!" Anyways back to my story... last night my baseball team had the first playoff of the season and luckily we won. My coach was so proud of us that he decided to take us out to eat... While at the restaurant I notice these two beautiful ladies across from our table... As soon as I saw them, all of the sudden I started to remember miss_jaclynrae words of wisdom . I got up from the table and I approach them without even caring of getting rejected. Guys let me tell you, in order to approach two attractive girls on a restaurant you need to have some cojones or a couple of beers on your system . Moving on, I don’t quite remember how I open the conversation but whatever I was saying the girl were so into it that they offer me a chair... I was chatting with them for like 20 minutes when my coach approach me and told me that we needed to head out... I politely got up from the table and I ask one of the girls if they would like to hang out sometimes... The girls smile and say she would love too... say what!!!! Lol... Since I dint have my phone on me I ask one of the waiter for a pen and paper so that she can write her number on it... Now my question is how should I handle this situation? Should I call her or text her...For some reason girls hate when a guy send them long text. I’m not sure why but they do... If I call, I feel like I am going to get really nervous and I’m going to start to stutter . If I text her I feel like the text is going to be too long and she’s not going to answer back... Ladies you see all the stuff that a guy have to think about before either calling or texting you....
Emilia Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I know the pressure guys are under so personally I'm cool with texts too but I think girls like calls more. You chatted with them for 20 minutes so maybe you can somehow use that conversation?
It's Just Me Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 What an awesome story! I would text her first, saying "Hi, it's me, Josation, from the restaurant last night. Just wanted you to have my number as well. When would be a good time to call you?" Simple as that.
