I apologize about this if its in the wrong place, but I would consider this having trouble forming companionship or whatnot. anyhow, i'm having this situation at work with a co-worker. basically, for the past few weeks (I haven't known her very long) we've started to know each other better and have become much more comfortable with each other, have plenty of inside jokes etc. I have a pretty good feeling that she has some type of feelings for me; approaches me to talk a lot, smiles and laughs, a lot of signs that in my experience are pretty big tells when it comes to this kinda stuff. So a few days ago the two of us are joking around and she says that shes givin me the silent treatment for the rest of the day. okay, more joking right? she avoids me but smiles and i catch her looking at me a lot. well now, 4 days later, i ask her if "shes still upset" jokingly and she says yes with this cute half smile, but continues with her "avoidance" so to speak. She still talks to me here and there, a lot of smiles my way, but the joking and talking that we once shared seems to suddenly have stopped. I'm very confused, and I'm very unsure about how to approach this. Right now I kind of see this as her saying, "come get me and MAKE me end this silent treatment," or her really trying to push me away slowly, a little at a time. Should I just cut her off or continue to pursue talking with her and see where it leads? I know it sounds childish, but its been a while since I've been in a situation like this. I thought I could read this girl pretty well but the past few days have been tough. Thanks.

She wants you to chase her.

I can't say if she really wants something with you or is just playing games. It could be either one.
