I just thought of something. I know we are all saying we wish the pain would go away and why does this have to hurt so bad and why do we miss them so much? but something just came to me. Of course i alwaysknew that pain like this makes you stronger, i believe that 100% but we still say we wish we didnt feel it. Well think of it like this. If we didnt feel this pain, and it was so easy to move on, then there really would be no hope that THEY WOULD MISS US EITHER. ya know? in a way even though we dont want to feel this pain, we want the EX TO FEEL THE PAIN and miss us, so if it didnt exist, no one would ever long for anyone....so its a good thing the pain exists. does that make sense?

I think without brief moments of pain, we would never learn to appreciate those longer intervals when we are living happier without it.

But pain is a process and not a destination. "Stronger" only comes when we learn to work through it rather than remain stuck in it.

Yeah I think that it is good, but if you read my thread you'll understand why. My bf's parents they would probably got over it but it just made it better cuz' they saw that it was hurting their son and me and neither of us did anything it was my mom that had to say something. So, in a way it's a good thing, even though I hated going through it for the past five days, but now it's over and I feel so much better, hehe. Yeah, but i'll post it here too, if anyone has any advice on what to talk about with parents or what you talk about with them, please leave it on my thread thanks.

It's going through the bad times that make you grow stronger, and when you learn about who you are as a person.
