h2ojoy Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 it's been a month since we broke up. we have not spoken in 4 weeks but she still contacts a very close friend of mine. apparently my friend told me she "wants to get back with me" but i still have not heard from her. last she contacted me was through a drunk e-mail one week ago saying she's "lost without me". should i break NC? i respect her space so much but ****, i'm dying.
Canadian731 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 DO NOT BREAK NC, if you want things to work you have to let her come to you, depending on how you feel about the relationship in a few weeks, if you can honestly tell yourself you have both fixed the issues that caused the break up then when she comes to you go for it.
dannykeyz831 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 4 weeks is not enough..stay nc and if she still feels this way in a couple of more months or so then she might deserve another chance. One thing you cannot do is give up power. You posses that right now but will only be of significance if you let her suffer some more. I know that sound harsh but dumpers have got to understand that when they do crap like this to us, it messes us up mentally and sometimes it can be hard to fully recover from a break up. If you stand your ground she will respect you and will not take you for granted because she will be feeling like the "lucky one" to have you have back and not vice versa.
