I known so many old guys like this it isn't even funny. What I don't understand is, why do they so often not get held responsible for their actions? They are in their forties!!! They have control over what they do, and they know how their actions are going to hurt their families. Why don't people see them for the self centered, entitled people that they are? If a woman has been slinging dick since 12 and was sucking off all of her guy friends in college you shouldn't be surprised when she cheats. It's the same thing here, if a man is in a position of power where women are highly attracted to him and constantly flirting with him most men will end up cheating on their wives. When women act surprised by this news it's laughable, although his wife can't be blamed too much because Tiger Woods had the clean cut thing going for him.

She never saw it coming and it is unfair to just assume any man with money and power will cheat. On the other hand any future women that Charlie Sheen marries should see it coming. Rob could have used this information to guage her values, but he probably assumed her cheating was circumstantial and not character related. Like most people that have a relationship with former cheaters, he likely thought she only cheated on her previous boyfriend because she wasn't happy. He attributed her cheating to issues in her previous relationship, instead of issues within her. Emotionally healthy people with good character values do not cheat, even if they're in a bad relationship. I do not think that past casual sex or a high number partners means that a person will cheat in the future. However, I believe that cheating or lying in previous relationships is a good indicator of future infidelity. Cheating shows that a person has no problems sneaking around and lying. That little voice in our heads that keeps us from crossing boundaries and hurting others, is muted for cheaters. They are selfish and not concerned with how their actions affect others. It shows a lack of respect for committed relationships. They do not value fidelity. Many cheaters are conflict avoiders. Instead of addressing the issues within them or in their relationship, they escape and look for other ways to get their needs met. This is a huge clue as to how they will deal with other problems in their lives- in sneaky and underhanded ways. Being young is no excuse for this behavior. Kristen does not value fidelity now, and she won't value fidelity later. She will expect fidelity from others, but her loyalty will be based on her feelings at the moment. She probably justifies her cheating with feelings based excuses, such as blaming distance, arguments, lack of attention. Cheaters twist their bad behavior in ways that make it seem not so bad. Cheaters are not taught to value fidelity or loyalty, and these qualities are not going to magically appear as they matures. As cheaters age, they don't learn to become faithful- they learn to become better cheaters. Kristen is not kicking herself for cheating, she's kicking herself for getting caught. The blame should be shared equally between Kristen and the director. The director put his family at risk and his wife and kids will have to deal with this forever. His kids will be known for their dad cheating on their mom with Kirsten Stewart. His wife, who seemed so proud of her husband's accomplishments, must accept that he was not worthy of her praise and support. Kristen is so self focused that her apology was all about her & Rob. She likely did not even consider the wife and family of her lover, and how she was a participant in his betrayal. This shows how selfish her mindset is. Both cheaters share the blame, but Rob was stupid to trust Kristen when he knew she was a cheater. If he would have seen her prior cheating as the character issue that it is, he would've realized that she wasn't a good choice for a partner. Lesson: Don't date a former cheater. 7

I like your post however I think it's good to remember that "no one is as bad as the worst thing they've done", in other words judging an entire person or life by a few bad acts isn't fair, it's the overall course of their life or life up till now that tells what sort of person they are. 2
