mr.SI Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 well i finally talked to my ex face to face today and we talked about our relationship for a bit. basically she said that she didn't want me to feel sad about it , that she will always be there for me when i need her and vice versa, and that someday if it was meant to be that we'll get back together. see, i don't get it i thought we were doing good, she was calling me to chat and i would call her to(even though it has only been 3 weeks since our break) i mean we talk as though we were still going out, minus the honey and i love you's. i dunno i guess my dreams of getting back together with her are kind of shattered, i dunno what to really do at this point. i hope i can get some peoples thoughts about the situation. what should i do? just to continue talking to her as like a best friend and hopefully time will bring us back together.

Your dreams arnt shatterd she even said if ou were ment to be you will get back together in the end.. now thats a good sign atleast you can talk to your ex and shes still there for you its very good.
djones Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 hi, I read your problem and its EXACTLY the same for me same situation and the whole thing the future is unwritten and if we were ment to be it will...we do talk just like you and your girl all is the same, but the I love you, or sweety ect. I got help from others here and the advice I got is just keep doing what you are doing be the firend talk, but dont say that you want to get back with her, let her come around and say that. I am hoping that she and I will get back together....just like you i thgouth everything was going well, the problem was timing and her new job position...So I dont know, I hope it works out for all us. Its so hard when you care for that person yet you cant be together, i figure if you love her respect her wishes I mean thats what you would do if you were together right? so hopefully it works out. I know its hard I am still depressed and lost....
