michaeljones Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 I have a question for any women out there. If a guy wrote you love letters who was basically a stranger and they were very poetic and deeply romantic and told you you were so wonderful and special. How would it make you feel?
Author michaeljones Posted July 11, 2004 Author Posted July 11, 2004 Oh yeah and they also told you they were too shy to say hello so hence th e letters. Stalkers are a bunch of dumbass weirdos, i wouldnt even stalk myself.
Author michaeljones Posted July 11, 2004 Author Posted July 11, 2004 If I stalk myself I would reject me and I can't do that coz I dont hate myself.
SnowWhite Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 If a guy wrote me love letters instead of just going up to me and talking to me I would have to think that he has some sort of antisocial problem. Too shy to say hello?? Or agree with DerangedAngel that he seems like a stalker. This seems like strange behavior from a grown man, Sorry.
CurlyIam Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Love letters may seem creepy! But funny little notes telling her you love her smile or that you think she's sexy, nice details, may make her cheer up. Even curious.... definetely flattered! Who knows? That may be cute!
SnowWhite Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Ok just so I have the rules straight so far... Love letters can be creepy and stalkerish unless they are little notes that tell her she is sexy, BUT not in too much detail as that would also seem like a creepy perv sending you a letter. lol So unless he writes you love notes that are about three sentences long in hopes of catching your eye, yet not seeming like he watches/stalks you all day then there is a general consensus that this is love letter thing seems very weird. I swear I'm here to help!
CurlyIam Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Well,if she's a waitress and he writes on a napkin "you have an amazing smile" I think she'd take it differently than: "glancing inyour eyes reminds me of the breeze of ...etc etc...'' I think too many details about her wouldor about his feeling for her, a woman whomhe never met, may make her feel as if she were constancty watched! A little note might flatter her without scaring her ... anyway, that's how I see it !
murphy pee Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 MJ, think about it for a while... Does the one writing the letters really want the girl? I think if he feels what he puts on paper, he should say it face to face. Unless he has something to hide I sense a little inferiority complex; unless ofcourse she's a waitress and he writes on a napkin "you have an amazing smile". YOU ARE WASTING TIME!
Author michaeljones Posted July 11, 2004 Author Posted July 11, 2004 Okay well I did send a letter, well a few letters over a period of time. All they basically said was I thought she was really pretty and I would love to meet her one day and I was too shy to simply say hello, which I was. Never once told her I loved her or I cannot be without her coz thats not true. Just said she deserves love and happiness and I wanted to get to know her. She finally replied saying that they made her feel really happy. SO IT WORKED. Tho shes too damn shy to meet me. Thats irony for u. I dont believe any girl in this world would not like to be told another man finds her pretty. I mean her no harm. Altough now Its bringing me more harm than happiness coz I'm kinda starting to really like her as a person, well as the person she seems to be. Love is sooooooooooooooo hard.... This isnt love, yet...
murphy pee Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Love is a rose; it is "thorns with a beautiful flower" - shimaster Stay strong bro. Say what you mean and mean what you say. You check out like an ok guy. Good luck.
Author michaeljones Posted July 11, 2004 Author Posted July 11, 2004 Thanks man, appreciated. Getting hard tho, have to hold back from pestering her too much coz that would make me come across like a weirdo. Gotta be like the fonz. Cool! The poor girls probably as unsure as I am. I wish we could all have love all the time, but like you say it really is a rose. Peace!
snilljente Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 I had to laugh at the first response that a girl would think he was a stranger....funny,....but true...What about writing love letters to someone you've dated seriously for a while that is moving away, but you haven't exchanged I love yous......do guys perceive this as smothering?
