My Aunt calls me yesterday and tells me she just got a letter and school picture and drawings from my ex's daughter. She thanked her for being so nice to them and accepting them into our family. She only saw my aunt once in a blue moon and she treated her like the rest of the family. My Aunt said that in the letter she hoped the best for everyone especially me and talked about what a great person that I was. She also indicated that she hoped to see her (or the family) again one day and offered her email address so she could see pictures of my niece. I don't know why she would have sent this to her?? They got along well but I'm not super close with my Aunt like I am with my parents? Any thoughts on this??? She left me, hence she left my family. Why still try and be involved??? She needs to go to hell and stay there!
GLDheart Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Only your Ex knows. But the pattern fits her just breaking up with (most likely dumped by) whoever she used as a rebound. Now she's at a low point reminiscing. IT DOES NOT MEAN SHE WANTS YOU BACK. It means she's confused. It means that a little EGO boost (of being desired by you) would help her. IT MEANS NOTHING FOR YOU BUT TORTURE... that's the pattern of what she's doing anyway. But as it is just a generalization, it is just a guide to a possibility. Just be careful. 2
