tivoconga Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Ok - I met a girl online a while ago now...we've texted a lot, some email, but never met. We had set up 2 dates, the first - a few hours before we were going to meet, she says she's really tired, so I said she should just get some rest. I kind of brushed her off at that point. A few weeks later, after no texting, she starts up with super texting...so we arrange to meet up, get a lame response essentially saying she was hung over in response to me suggesting an afternoon activity...at that point I said tough - we can try to figure out something later. Again, I brushed her off - but she starts texting again - sometimes really flirty, sometimes kind of cool and it seems like she's responding out of obligation more than anything else. Obvious thoughts - she's dating other guys. Truthfully given that I've never met her, that doesn't matter...it was an online intro...so I guess there are least a few people drifting around in at least email form. Why the warm then cool behavior - sometimes between just a message or two? Do some women just like text attention? At this point we've texted romance neutral stuff for the past day...should I ask her out again, stop texting? Thoughts would be great. Truthfully, I'm fine with a text buddy...but I can't really figute out her position...as she frequently responds to te ts in less than a minute...
It's Just Me Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Agree with Alex. When people really want to meet other people, they do it. Cut her loose.
