StrangeBehaviors Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I went out with someone for awhile that would do this. If I looked her in the eyes intently, she would start blinking her eyes very rapidly. Like a fast strobe light. It had nothing to do with a deep conversation, lying or anything like that. Start blinking, and wouldn't stop until I removed my gaze or did something to break her eyes away. I tried it just to see what it was like. Like 2 blinks a second. Makes me dizzy. Strange. Any ideas? (No I didn't think to ask at the time. Person long gone.)
MrCastle Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Sounds like my generation. The ones who don't know how to make eye contact unless it's with a computer screen or cell phone. Social media, ironically, is making us less social. We don't know how to interact in real world settings any more. Either that or she's weird.

But most likely weird, since she may have more than likely looked away if may have felt insecure Plus I am from your generation and I know how to make and hold eye contact with a person. However that is probably since I have been going on job interviews since I was 16 and have learned how to learn conduct myself in these type of situations that seems to be dwinderling with the growth of technology.
