Tracy21 Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 After thinking about my situation leading to the breakup, I am finally able to say that I truly don't want him back. The first few days I was miserable, missed him terribly, I did not contact him for 2 weeks then finally called to get the remaining things from his apartment. I have had minimal contact with him since then, and I don't want him back at all. I am much happier being single! I have accepted the fact that the relationship ended. I don't think we will remain friends for long because he is moving away. I am relieved that I am getting through this, hopefully everyone going through a breakup will get over it soon...its a matter of time. He is a nice person, but we are not meant for each other.
Author Tracy21 Posted July 10, 2004 Author Posted July 10, 2004 For me to keep moving on I have to cut all contact. It will be easier once he moves away. I think that will the best for both of us. I don't believe that you can remain friends with an ex.
Starting Over Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Hey Tracy: I'm glad to hear that you realized the relationship wasn't right for you either. Sometimes it takes some time apart to do that. Sounds like you are taking good care of yourself and moving on-- good for you. Best Wishes! S.O.
