honestly i don't give two ****s if shes blue collar or white collar. i'm white collar and white collar ladies have been comparitively nicer to me.

I tend to have the same attitude as you. I've had business analyst gf to factory worker gf. I really don't want them to hate their job but do nothing about changing things for the better though. There needs to be passion for life at least if its not in learning. When it comes to blue/white collar, I would say its 50:50. (though i have noticed a difference between the mercantile professions and the science professions)

I prefer to date men of higher education. Smart men are sexy and it's a turn on.

I haven't yet dated a really smart man (can't find one! hah!). Most of them have been average or below average intelligence. That's probably because I double majored in university in Business and Literature, and I love to read on top of that so I read everything about everything.

There's nothing sexier than having a good debate with a smart man who knows what he's talking about.

MDs and PhDs are completely different animals in my book.

Most people who do doctorates do it for the knowledge or because they want to teach. If you do it for the prestige or money, it's not going to pay off in most fields.

Most MDs do if for the money. An American MD automatically puts you in upper middle class but doesn't necessarily make you more intelligent. It's a lot of rote force feeding and hours upon hours of rotations.

Wait, what? I'm not going to become rich and famous upon earning my degree?!? Kidding.... I got into this field with my eyes open.

I can't say I disagree with that stereotype--in general MDs are a bit overrated when it comes to intellect--but the exceptions to that stereotype are what really excite me (not just romantically, but that too). A medical doctor motivated enough to perform research, or at least keep abreast of scientific developments, has a lot to bring to the table.
