I was wondering, ever looked at a dating profile or even someone's FB pics, and you noticed that a LARGE percentage of their photos is:

1. Of mostly them.

2. Dressed to the 9's most of the time

3. The environment is of some kind of upscale variety, upscale club, upscale bar, etc.

4. Pictures with a wine glass always in their hand.

5. Mostly "posed" photos, nothing casual. (i.e. - her and her friends lined up back to back, knees up slightly, and turning and smiling seductively at the camera....you might see an occasional male photo-bomber in some instances. LOL

Basically, they think they are a model, when they're not.

6. You look at their series of pictures, and you think "Man, I think this person is MORE into themselves, than they would be into a future mate.

Ever noticed this? This goes for both male and female.

Take them to an event/party with mutual friends. Take lots of pictures. When you show them the pictures, see how much time they spend looking at photos of themself only v others. Look at their photo albums at home and what they have on the walls. If lots of pictures of themselves alone on the walls, danger. Look at their FB page, lots of photos of just themselves that look posed? Danger. Do they ever go in the bathroom while at home and not out just to sit and look at themselves in the mirror? Danger. Not really about high maintenance as much as general self-absorption, the two do tend to go hand in hand though.

:lmao:

I find this funny because I do a lot of those things, yet I am so far from high maintenance. I am actually really easy to please.

I live in Naoa where EVERYBODY has a glass of wine in their hand; from the president of a company to the mechanic/plumber/hair-dresser.

What the heck does drinking wine have to do with being high-maintenance????

To add, they tend to be the center of the picture, are into blogging, have an amateur camera and software that artistically darkens the picture, and have a lot of Facebook friends.

This is the kind of thing that someone says about you, not you say about yourself.

How you are seen, not how you see yourself.

In fact, one might theorize that because you jumped to this, you like to think in terms of 'MEEE'. :)

Well that isn't fair, none of you have ever dated me.

:(

I drink wine because it tastes good and makes me sleepy.

I like going to nice places, and I pay for myself thank you very much!

I pose in all my pics because I like to look good in photos. lol.

I have a TON of photos of myself, but I also have a ton of photos of other things.

:p

In all seriousness though, this list is silly.

I guess it all depends on what you consider high maintenance though!

especially since of all habits, wine is one that isn't very expensive. good wines can be had at a very reasonable price.

helluva lot cheaper than my scotch, that's for sure.

Omg - duckface.

Ladies please, PLEASE stop doing this in pictures. It doesn't make you look sexy. You look like an idiot. Just flash that beautiful smile of yours; it's so much more approachable and beautiful.

Also, don't upload photos of yourself with your camera phone in the bathroom. This goes for men without their shirts on.

No - just NO.
