steveblack Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Its funny how life works out. I just got dumped from a 3 yr relationship and my good mate (who has gotten his heart broken a couple of times) is at the awkward love serious stage of his relationship. He has been guarded for the last 5 years trying to protect himself from a bad breakup. he asks "Should I open up to love her, I don't want to go through it again, and I see what you are going through, seems not worth it." Keep in mind I am absolutely shot from my recent breakup. (about a month of nc and i am going nuts). "Mate, even with this awful heartache that I am going through, I would do it again and again because what i had was love. It didn't work out, but it was worth the gamble" Depending on the breakup of course, would you guys/gals say the same? 1
IST Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I don't regret opening up to my ex. Not sure if I'm willing to open myself up to that kind of pain again any time soon though.
Skalabanan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 At present it would take something really special to risk this pain again but never say never. 1
