iris219 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah, that^ That shape. The body looks less girlish and more womanly. That happens at 30? My body didn't get the memo.
Author Seductive Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Prefer comparable looks and maturity regardless of age. Or better in both cases. I'm glad you mentioned this, because people tell me I look and sound younger than my age. I do believe we seek out those that are similar to us, so maybe that's why I'm more attracted to those that appear youthful. this is what I would expect from a woman dating a significantly older man, so I too wonder what the hell they're thinking... Looking for a father figure? Thinking that older men are more mature? Just having a preference? It does feel weird to me when you're the one being carded and your date isn't at a restaurant.
brahmabull117 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 That happens at 30? My body didn't get the memo. that happens at 30 if you squat and deadlift with heavy weight 3 times a week + good diet 2
Author Seductive Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 probably this - http://www.jaimekoeppe.com/images/nlg/fashion1.jpg Hehe, I was super skinny in my early 20's. I admit I do like how I filled out after 25!
ThaWholigan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 That happens at 30? My body didn't get the memo. Sure it does, I know a lot of girls in their late 20s up to early 30s who look great . Obviously gotta be maintained, but still....
miss_jaclynrae Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 If a guy approached you who was your age and was very attractive and seemed pretty settled, would you still turn him down? Of course, age isn't a deal breaker. I am just stating based on my own dating experiences, I have yet to meet a 22 year old who was at the same point in there life as I am, and would be willing to think about a serious relationship at children at a younger age.
iris219 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 And this is what I would expect from a woman dating a significantly older man, so I too wonder what the hell they're thinking... I generally find older men more interesting, more chivalrous, more stable, and more appreciative of my company. I am also more attracted to older men physically. I love hair that's going gray and wrinkles around the eyes. 1
monkey00 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I'm glad you mentioned this, because people tell me I look and sound younger than my age. I do believe we seek out those that are similar to us, so maybe that's why I'm more attracted to those that appear youthful. Surprisingly that's true. Looking older/younger than your age has a large impact also. I behave and look older than my age, so a lot of my friends tend to be older than me...and then that slides over to the dating aspect where I wind up with women who like older men. Or older women. Or women my age who look older. So damn weird.
USMCHokie Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It is pretty common knowledge that women typically mature at a younger age than men. Not ALL, same as the fact that not ALL older men are mature. What do you define as "mature"...?
USMCHokie Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 What do you consider significant? Eh, I don't know...I guess for me personally, anything over a decade makes me squirm and a little in my mouth... For me, my dating range is based on lifestyle. Too many men my age are just into partying and haven't really honed in on what they want to do with their lives. I prefer someone more settled. Ah, generalizations are made...where you equate age with settledness...?
iris219 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Sure it does, I know a lot of girls in their late 20s up to early 30s who look great . Obviously gotta be maintained, but still.... I know lots of women who look great well past their 30's. Some women gain weight as they get older, but most don't magically get thick. I'm very thin and toned, so that sort of thickness isn't happening for me.
brahmabull117 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Ah, generalizations are made...where you equate age with settledness...? That's perfectly reasonable generalization. Most of my friends in their early 20s are definitely not settled and still want to party and have fun
brahmabull117 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I know lots of women who look great well past their 30's. Some women gain weight as they get older, but most don't magically get thick. You don't have to have a huge butt like that to look good - petite women can be beautiful as well if they take good care of themselves
USMCHokie Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 That's perfectly reasonable generalization. Most of my friends in their early 20s are definitely not settled and still want to party and have fun And it's just as possible for an older gentleman to not be settled.
iris219 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Eh, I don't know...I guess for me personally, anything over a decade makes me squirm and a little in my mouth... But you've dated a much older woman. Do you mean you're only uncomfortable when women date older?
ThaWholigan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I know lots of women who look great well past their 30's. Some women gain weight as they get older, but most don't magically get thick. I'm very thin and toned, so that sort of thickness isn't happening for me. Yeah, I hear you, but I bet that you still have quite a sturdy look. The squats/deadlifts will definitely help get that thickness, as well as some hard food
brahmabull117 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 And it's just as possible for an older gentleman to not be settled. The average 30 year old will be far more settled than the average 23 year old 7 years from now, I will likely have a steady career and ready to get married/have kids. I'm nowhere near that right now Her mindset is correct for what she wants
USMCHokie Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 But you've dated a much older woman. Do you mean you're only uncomfortable when women date older? Yes I have...significantly older...but yes, I will admit this is rather hypocritical of me.
SunandMoon Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Age doesn't bother me that much. 18 to my age group 23-ish is good and all. I actually am attracted to some older women (I think that stems from a crush I had on a friend's mom ) so that's fine too. So long as I connect with the lady on a few levels; all is well.
Bob_Funk Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Women of all shapes are desired. But any guy guy who doesn't fit the GQ model mold is worthless.
iris219 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah, I hear you, but I bet that you still have quite a sturdy look. The squats/deadlifts will definitely help get that thickness, as well as some hard food You mentioned "sturdy" in the horoscope thread and I thought maybe you meant mentally. I look lithe and delicate, but I'm actually very fit. Oh, I'm no stranger to squats. 1
123321 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I will casually date any age that's legal and attractive but if I'm looking to get into an LTR I date 20-26 or so.
brahmabull117 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Women of all shapes are desired. But any guy guy who doesn't fit the GQ model mold is worthless. How is it any different with men? Skinny, buff and more thick (as in beefy but not ripped) guys can be attractive as long as they take care of themselves and have nice personalities How is it any different with women? Skinny/Curvy/Thick can all be attractive depending on the man 2

I know I may end up looking like that one day though. I agree that older men tend to be more chivalrous, because they were raised in that generation where traditional courting rituals took place.
