If he's lucky, he can maybe extend things to 28 tops. It sucks; I feel like I'm late to the party. And now that it's summer, you have college girl a** rubbed in your face constantly. Talk about depression inducing.

Men much older than 25 date such young women because they have learned how to be attractive to the age group and to cherry-pick those amongst the group whom feel innate attraction to older men. There is a another thread currently running about a 39 yo guy who has a child from a ten year M and who essentially lies about his age and relationship/marital/parental history to date women as young as 21. It happens. In another 25 you'll have a different perspective. Enjoy the journey.

Overall more options because their age makes certain ages groups open to them?, yes. For example, Im in my mid 20s, and by virtue of this, certain older gals will be open to me since I wont seem as much of a baby now that Im not in my early 20s. Butt a mans age wont make younger girls more of a option to them and many younger girls get turned off by much older guys hitting on them unless hes VERY attractive. Not many older guys can compete with the looks of younger dudes, and thats what many younger girls are going for. Physical attraction is key. Honestly I dont know what OP is crying about. Why the hell would you want to deal with teenage kid drama that comes with 18, 19, and even 20 year olds? Im 25 and I prefer my women 21/22 and up. Read what I said again. As ive gotten into my mid 20s, my options have gone up. Now more sexy women in their late 20s into their 40s will be open to me. To many of them, the mid 20s is when they can see a guy as a man and not a young boy anymore. More options does not mean more younger options. Most younger girls are dating younger guys.

Just because you attract some young women doesnt mean you attract most. And it doesnt mean most like much older men. The vast majority date guys their age. Everyone sees that. And marriage statistics confirm this.

And its not just me, most of my friends my age attract younger women as well. Sorry. And when I say they date guys "their age" Im talking guys in their AGE GROUP (within 3 years or so)....not much older men (guys in their late 20s and 30s trolling for teens). Stats show most relationship are between people a few years within age of one another. Thats not debatable either. Most of them are not that smart. When you are 18-21 you don't know which way is up. Lets get serious. Which is why controlling older blokes go after them. They want naive chicks to use, who dont know which from where. Teachers, college proffs, bar tenders, tutors, camp counselors, whatever. All guys -no matter how creepy- have a shot. However, these highschool/college girls will still generally prefer their own age group. However, once a girl gets out of college and gets a taste of the real world, she will gravitate toward men with money aka stability. So for most girls post-college -an older man with no money will not be able to compete so well against a young man with no money (assuming the men are otherwise equal). In other words youth wins out over age if money is accounted for. It's the difference between Hugh Heffner and a random old white guy with no money. Hugh gets young beautiful girls because he's fairly wealthy and powerful. Not because he's old. Without money and power to go along with it, getting old is definitely not a guaranteed plus point for a man. Quite the opposite. Edited July 22, 2012 by Fitz 3

You will find yourself with alot of more sucess if you do this. 1

One of my good friends is 30 years old and makes at least 200 grand a year...we used to go out all the time and I never saw him get action. He's now dating a woman who is pretty avg looking to be honest If you're relying on your money to get hot babes, you better be driving a Lambo or a Ferrari....no woman cares about your 80 k a year job.
