dassme Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 I've been dating my GF ( well now EX ) close to 9 months. We broke up about two weeks ago, got back together a week later and now broke up after 1 week. The first time week broke up was because she felt mentally she was getting older and that our views and goals were at different stages. ( She was 39 and I'm 30 ) I was completely devistated!!! We didn't have any contact for 6 days, but on the 7 day, I called her. It was brief converstation just to see how she is yada yada yada! Well after we hung up she called me back again to ask me out for lunch. I was a bit reserved on that because I very much had feelings for her still and that it would be tough on me. After much thought, I said yes and we met up a hour later. When I saw her, my heart just fell. She was just a beautiful as the day we met. Anyway we went to our usual diner and had the same food we usually have when we are there. After that, we went for a walk and talked about things. ( nothing pertaining to the relationship ) We held hands throughout the walk and kissed each other here and there. Sometimes when we would stop, she would whisper to me that she missed and still loved me. When she said that, I was all giddy and didn't want the day to end but of course it did. Well after that day, we were back together. I was so happy!!! But alas I'm back here cause we're broken up again. This time she says she lost trust in me. I was like in shock cause I haven't done anything for her to think that!! Why would I try so hard to get us back together and then screw it up by cheating or what not's!!!! It's absurb! When I'm with someone I'm with that person only. Yes I have friends that call me on my cell ( girls and guys ) and that's what they are "FRIENDS!" I think she's a bit jealous and insecure when the do call cause she questions who called and what for? But when her friends call, I'm suppose to suck it up and not get angry!!! It's BS!! With her being older, I though she would be more understanding but she's not!! But get a load of this, I've read some threads on this site and they say they were dumped while on the phone, well, she dumped me by sending me text messages on my cell!! She told me she won't bother me anymore and also to stop calling her! How cowardly is that!!! She couldn't do it to my face!!! Goes to show her true personality. ONE BIG CHICKEN _ _ _ _ !!! I think this is a COP OUT! She couldn't find any real excuses so she's using the not trusting me to let me go when I haven't done anything wrong. What do you guys think! P.S. Sorry for the long thread! Had to vent!!!
StartingAgain Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 I think you are being jerked around. I'm willing to bet there's another man in the picture. The one week back together was because she hadn't heard from in in awhile and she was covering her bets. Then he showed up again. Forget her and move on.
