Eternal Sunshine Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Do you get any messages that just creep you out? I got one liner from a guy yesterday that said: "Do you ever put and thick, black ski-mask on and stare at your eyes?"
johan Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 "Do you ever put and thick, black ski-mask on and stare at your eyes?" Seems like a fair question. Do you? 2
Miss.Misunderstood Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 My reply would have been. "Well ya...Who hasnt?" lol 2
Imajerk17 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 A female friend of mine received the following message: "I've been stroking off to your picture all week." How is that for creepy? 1
ThaWholigan Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 "how do you fancy some old luvin ;)" - from a 66 year old woman. 1

miss_jaclynrae Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I can't say I get many creepy ones, but I get some pretty funny ones. My roommate came in the room while I was looking at your profile and told me that if I didn’t message you, she would. Now, she’s straight, so that’s probably an empty threat, but she does have an eye for beauty, so I’m totally going to trust my mom’s judgment on this one. So I just thought I would send you a message to let you know -Tae
SincereOnlineGuy Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) Do you get any messages that just creep you out? I got one liner from a guy yesterday that said: "Do you ever put and thick, black ski-mask on and stare at your eyes?" While I can streeeeeeeeeeeeetch to understand that the reference to a "ski mask" throws you for a loop, this simply does not count as "creepy". (consider that had he said: "catcher's mask" or "umpire's mask"... there would be no connotation of evil conjured up in your mind. the point was surely that your eyes are so especially attractive, that to eliminate any background around them was bound to highlight them in memorable fashion. Since you do something along those lines/plans with make-up in a typical day, he's just not that out-of-line at all. Hope you'll save "creepy" for when it is really applicable. I understand that on further reflection, however my first instinct was to feel creeped out. I am also not into messages like "I hope I am not one step closer to getting a restraining order. Haha." I feel majorly turned off on reading that, I can't help it.
El Brujo Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 To be honest, this current photo you have up there creeps me out! Some of them don't even have to write anything to creep me out, if they post photos where they're taking pics of themselves in a mirror. How do I know a woman who does this isn't a nudity freak or a costume nut???
Sugarkane Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I've gotten at least a couple "I wish you well in your search", even though I've never contacted them. So why wish me well? There was one guy who contacted me and he was sitting on the floor and surrounded by women. It looked liked he was looking up at their skirts! Who would think this is a good idea for a profile pic? It just looked really sleazy.
fucpcg Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I get a ton of very unattractive women messaging me saying how hot I am and they want to have sex with me. Really shocking to me that people in my age group don't have anymore substance than that. The other thing that is comical about it is I wrote in my Intro basically "Avid athlete and outdoors lover seeks the same. I am not a magnet, therefore opposites do not attract me. If you do not consider yourself either, I have no idea what we would do together, so no need to message me". It's not like I have a inviting Intro, but I guess they figure doesn't hurt to try?

I have "I am not into casual sex so if you are, keep looking". And I still get more than 50% of messages from guys asking for casual sex or to hook up "tonight"

And I still get more than 50% of messages from guys asking for casual sex or to hook up "tonight" Well I believe a large percentage in there just looks at the photos then messages based on that. I'm not surprised that you would get messages like that, you are a younger attractive female, and young males are generally brainless. I am still surprised that I get what I get.

I rarely get messages of any substance. Most are"hey wassup?" or casual sex ones. I don't bother replying to either. Then there are guys that don't handle rejection well. If I don't respond to their message, they will follow it up with something like "you ugly slut, I hope you never find anyone". Charming.

Author Eternal Sunshine Posted July 21, 2012 Author Posted July 21, 2012 It's tough being a girl. Exactly johan. Thanks for your understanding 2
Author Eternal Sunshine Posted July 21, 2012 Author Posted July 21, 2012 So, what's the creepiest one you've ever gotten? I'm curious now. I have actually looked for you but I think I have deleted them. The creepiest by far are sexual fetish ones. This guy wrote an essay about how he wants me to take a s... on him and described it in explicit detail. I nearly threw up
