How do i convince my g/f to stand up for herself? her mum threatens that she will disown her, take the whole family overseas, etc if she keeps seeing me My g/f really loves me but is stuck because she doesnt want to loose contact with her brother 11 and sister 17 they both are ok with her dating me, just her mum is really really strict and is completely against it How do i stop this, its not fair on her to be blackmailed like this by her mum please help

And that i'm the girl in my situation with the controling parents... my advice: this situation can get really out of hand fast. and think about consiquences before you try stuff. in my situation we decided to elope just to get it all out of the way, but my parents had such a large grip on me that after a bunch of arguing 4 months ago we're divorced for now and still trying to fix things so we can get re-married peacefully. Its making our relationship really difficult too... so... yeah... watch it doesnt spin into that, k?
