Leopard Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 My girlfriend and I have been volunteering at the local humane society for about a month now. This other guy that works there has a crush on Sarah (my friend). Sarah likes him as well. They have been flirty back and forth during the month, he has even gotten a bit touchy with her (small stuff like on the elbow, on the waist and in non-pervy ways). He has even suspiciously started volunteering during pretty much the same hours (roughly 70% the same hours, before was maybe 30%). During one of the conversations he joked that he isn't as mature as he seems, that "you should see me when I head to the pub to play some pool". My friend responded with "I'm free tonight!" And nothing. He just went on with his duties and acted like that was the end of the conversation! I don't get it. We both know he is single, he made that clear, and it's painfully obvious he is interested, so when she took the liberty of making herself available, he doesn't do anything? ?!?! P.S I was there too, but I have a boyfriend and he knows this, so I don't think my presence had anything to do with it. In fact, he could have told us both to come join him to make it seem like a group thing, and he could have brought buddies. I don't understand.

Who knows, let him take his time..... anyways, how are the girls at humane society? I thought about volunteering but I figured good looking chicks won't volunteer in such places......

He told you he was retarded and yet you still expect him to act normal? People always overlook the obvious. LOL My bad how are the girls at humane society? You can't just expect them here and not there. I would say there are cute girls in the humane society. And because they are volunteering their own time to help abandoned animals you already know she is a sweetheart and has a kind soul.

Maybe he wasnt up to going out that particular night...Maybe he didnt want to rush their hangout...Or maybe hes not much into her. Just wait it out and see. Its no biggie...and its pitiful that guys in here and dogging the dude for not asking her to chill right away. You guys arent mind readers, so quit being haters.
