He knows how i feel about him, and that i have felt this way for over a year.. anyway, on saturday i had a date. me and lee were trying to sort out an argument we have been having, but out of the blue he says he looked through facebook and saw i had a date (my friend posted on my wall about it).. he asked me who this boy was i went on a date with. he started asking questions; do you like him, how old is he, are you going to go for it etc. i said we will see what happens, an he said well im surplus to requirements now you have found someone new, although he is not my boyfriend he was referring to him as my boyfriend, so i told him it might end up being nothing and that he isnt my boyfriend and we could just be friends.. he was certain we would be together an he seemed upset about it, he told me that im a good looking girl an will have no problem getting into a relationship with this boy, i reminded him its not about looks so he replied with 'your an amazing person aswell though, its up to you what you do..' he also wanted to know if i still liked him an that if my feelings last more than 2 years i need help (he was joking when he said that). I Told him that i would be seeing him again this saturday as we are going out for my friends birthday, to which he replied with ' I was going to ask to see you this saturday, but now you have an important date with this new boy'.. he just seems very jealous eh? anyway he ended the conversation with 'i finish work early today, i will stop by and give you a hug if you want?' but yeah, im just confused as to why he is so curious about me and my date and why he said he will be surplus to requirements and why he randomly told me how amazing and good looking i am.. alot of my friends think that cause he cant have me, he doesnt want no one else to.. is he jealous? thanks, and sorry that it is so long

I know my friend cares about me and it's seems like there could be more but it's really confusing because he is unavailable. What do you want out of this? I would be completely mysterious towards your friend when he asks you anything. Just smile and say you're enjoying things. Will kill him.
