Pretty much anyone who refers to their intelligence as a number is one of these IME. They are usually quite stupid. Yes, but many of those who are stupid---and KNOW---they're stupid---are pretty damn proud of it, at least here in the USA. Isn't being asexual more about not being attracted to women? I find women attractive, I'm just not all that interested in having sex with them. Nuthin' wrong with that... IMO sex is like heroin for some people, the more they get, the more they want. What I get a kick out of is when someone tries to rag on someone else for not wanting sex. It makes as much sense to me as a junkie making fun of a non-junkie... "nyah-nyah, I have a dependency, and you don't!" Well, sex drive is a spectrum, rather than black or white. Some people just have lower ones than others - I'd reserve 'asexuality' for people who are genuinely never interested in any sort of sex, with anyone. ^That.^ Asexuality is different from celibacy or incel... with celibacy or incel, you're jonesing for sex but can't get any. Asexuality means you wouldn't even want it if everyone was offering it to you for free... but for whatever reason, that's a bad thing, something a person is supposed to be ashamed of (read my previous paragraph).

This girl that is so called "intellectually disabled" may be culturally refined or artistic or musical. There is more to a person than pretending to be the smartest person in the world....at least I hope so. Brilliantly said. More often than not, people who repeatedly state how intelligent they are or constantly brag about it, aren't actually that intelligent at all.

Or, like I said 8 years ago... if some people think they know so much, why don't they write books to educate the rest of us? The market would be flooded with books full of the cornball observations of cracker-barrel philosophers.

We think that there would be a line of men waiting to date her. I agree. I think a majority of guys would go for a woman who is stupid but hot. I see it all the time. But, you want something else rather than that, then you should, like I think we all learn, look elsewhere past the looks department. You have to, even though I think it's hard myself.

There are so many hot girls who can't use proper grammar and punctuation, write in run-on sentences, put "dont really read much," and "Keeping up with the Kardashians" in their "Favorite Books, Movies and TV Shows" and so on. I think it's fair to assume that a very large number of super hot girls are already intellectually challenged. Not all, but far too many.

Ross, pot is illegal too, but that isn't going to stop 99% of the population under 80 from enjoying it.
The Way I Am Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I agree with Radu. My ex has a ridiculously high IQ, almost at genius level. She's fascinating but at the same time she's a head case. The fact she has a high IQ is the only thing that allows her to function in society, without it I think she'd be screwed. I don't envy these people, they find life terribly frustrating and difficult to socialise. It's little wonder so many of them turn to drink or put a bullet in their head. Did you ever think that your ex might be a head case even if she didn't have a high IQ? There are plenty of head cases with low IQs. Just because one person you knew with a high IQ was a head case doesn't mean they all are.
