I didn't know abundance mentality was a part of PUA - is it 'real' abundance mentality or is it just trying to get the upper hand? I find most female dating books tend to promote women control the situation by a scarcity mindset (though the few I like do not do this) and I have seen a lot of that in PUA as well. True abundance mentality is much less outcome-dependent. It's accepting that when something didn't work, maybe it wasn't supposed to, or whatnot, and that what you need is within you and also always headed your way. You may have to change your mind on the form, though. ;) Trying to get a specific outcome is quite a narrowing process, so it's really exercising the idea of scarcity. As with all things, balance is good.

It's not part of the outer game/upper hand stuff that gets publicized, but recently been in the Inner Game stuff (Xuma/Decker/rest of the "natural game" crew). Even Love Systems talk about that stuff. That's how I found out about The Power Of Now funnily enough :D.

Balance is indeed the key. I have nothing to add as it's already been said :)

Interesting. Yes, I've only seen the tip of the iceberg on PUA. Like I said, the same type of literature for women varies as well. The well-known books are hardly 'abundance mentality' but others are.

I signed up to Xuma 2 years ago, now I get newsletters and advertisements from LOADS of literature that gets lumped in with PUA.

Tao Of Badass, Sexy Small Talk, How To Be an Authentic Man, X&Y Communications (excellent). All kinds of materials. There is so much to be had, that any specific kind of improvement you need to make, and there is a PUA-centric book to help you . Only nowadays, they don't really call it PUA anymore .
