spirit1988 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Hi all, Went out for a second date with a great girl last night. Great chemistry and constant conversation. When I walked her back to her front door, I gave her a hug goodnight, and the next thing I knew, I had given her a kiss (on the lips). I hadn't really even expected to do it ... after the hug we both kind of looked at each other .. and it happened. Definitely the "heat of the moment." This was my first kiss in 3 years, so it wasn't done as gracefully as what I would have liked. In fact, it was probably awkward. After worrying for a bit on the way home, I got a text from her saying again how great of a time she had. So, all that to say, this seemingly awkward kiss isn't going to put a damper on a budding relationship?
spiderowl Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 If she made a point of telling you she had a great time, it sounds like she was happy to have the kiss. You acted naturally and it was a second date so I think that's fine. Pouncing on a girl during a first date might seem too soon if there wasn't some magical chemistry there straight away. It sounds pretty good for you
oaks Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 So, all that to say, this seemingly awkward kiss isn't going to put a damper on a budding relationship? Don't be silly and stop over-thinking it. Text her back and say you really enjoyed the date and you want to see her again. Or call her; she'll like that.
