DaeJhaDeyonnia Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 The guy I'm seeing has been my official "boyfriend" for about a week or two. When we met 4 months ago (he moved in down the street) , we were both in unhappy relationships. We agreed to be "friends" until the time was right. Coincidently, we both broke up with our 'others' a couple weeks ago. We were extremely close in our friendship. We had our nicknames, hung out and occasionally even kissed. It had the feel of a relationship but was still a friendship. Before I say anything more, from the first time we kissed, I felt butterflies. I felt safe and secure in his arms, something I've never felt before. The other day, I was with him. He was holding, hugging and kissing me (as usual). As he pulled away from my lips and held me in his chest, I accidently said I love you. Since my face was in his chest (I'm 5'2, he's 5'9), it was muffled. He asked what I said & I simply brushed it off. I think he heard me though. Is it too soon for the I Love You's? Besides the fact that we've been "together" for a few weeks but we've had a "relationship" per say for a couple of months. I still think its soon.... Just looking for a second opinion.
Ninjainpajamas Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 You're young...you're going to say and do stupid things, it's part of the deal. Do you really love this guy? Nah...but you won't know that until you really find what love really is...If you do 1
Feelin Frisky Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 It's fine. Unless he shows he is upset about it why should you be? I just advise not getting all in a hurry now to hear it back because you said it (since it was "muffled" and "accidental"). Good luck, hope it gets where you want it to go.
