RedRobin Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I've attached a link to a video that has inspired me many times. It is a great message for those who are struggling with dating, rejection, and 'failure'. People who develop new products, who start and build companies, and who have the courage to go after who and want they want in life.. all have to deal with repeated 'failure' before reaching their goal. "Failure is by-product of pushing the envelope" p.s. I find the guy in the opening statement super attractive Danicka Patrick kicks butt too... I love her spirit.
Author RedRobin Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 I agree that it starts out that way. That is what I find inspiring. People who are brave enough to talk about their failures... then talk about how they persevered. People who struggle with the concept of failure (any kind of failure) also seem to feel very ashamed about it. I know I have. When I can remember it is a process... something I have to go through in order to reach my goals... it becomes less intimidating. I see alot of people on LS who struggle with the concept of rejection and 'failure'. They have this idea that the people they emulate and who are successful never failed or were rejected... not realizing that perhaps the opposite is true. The ones who succeeded just persevered. Sure, it takes longer for some than others. That's life. Everyone is working on something. Even if they don't show it.
without Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 this doesnt apply to dating and sex and relationships. youre walking on the thinnest eggshells around the ladies. one wrong work and youre history. This sucks that people simply kick you out of their life by one mistake.
