If the workplace is all men it feels wrong. A party where the men hang in one room and the women in another is a bad party. I need to be around women to feel fully human.

So far you have yet to come in hoards to this place to attempt to spew your hateful bitter agenda.

As an admirer of strength and perseverance, this week's award goes to my best friend's sister who, amongst the ongoing medical tests during her remission from lung and brain cancer, as well as being a caregiver for her elderly mother, still has the energy and desire to help me out on one of my rentals and the stubbornness to not accept a nickel for her strenuous efforts. My take is that she's happy as shyte to be alive and each day pays it back. I find that inspiring and worthy of emulation. :)

Women always make the most interesting and well-rounded friends. I love the naturally empathic nature they often show to people even in the face of opposition.

I love that being around women makes me feel a lot lighter in mood and less intense - more carefree and creative.

Most of all, I love that women are always so different - they always pleasantly surprise me :).

Can't live with them, can't kill them. That's positive.

I appreciate how they've asserted themselves in society. Feminism has brought so much good to the world.

I am disappointed here Johan. You are a brilliantly clever and witty man. I always enjoy your posts. But,

I would really enjoy seeing you write something genuinely nice and non-sarcastic on this thread about a positive quality you appreciate in women.

I believe that would make my day great. :)

No matter how annoyed or irritated I get with the rare few, I would never want a world where there were no men in it. Because variety is the spice of life and some of the differences are precisely what make guys so attractive.

And on a more personal note, he makes me smile

I love how women are perpetually confusing - and I think they are even to themselves and each other. Many guys likely don't appreciate it the way I do, but I frequently find predictability boring - so the "out of left field" concept can be exciting and intriguing (assuming it's something like a weird compliment, unusual conversation topic, or bringing me a cake, as opposed to a complain fest - and it's usually positives).

I usually find that it's precisely what I'm not looking for, or expecting, that intrigues and excites me the most - women are good at throwing a metaphoric curveball.

There's no good about all men or women any more than there is a bad of all men or women.

However, a good man is a protector, and works with strength and pride for those he loves, he can lead and be trusted... He is something amazing.

women,

Every woman is beautiful. Every. Single. One.

God wouldn't make an ugly woman; he just wouldn't.

I call a do-over.

My day remains awesome as usual. But there's plenty of daylight left here in Texas. Don't mess it up. Give all us ladies some extra sunshine with a rainbow to boot. And unicorns on top. Pink with sparkles if possible.

With all the gender wars on here I figure I would leave thread on a good note before I go away for the week. Please no gender hatred in this thread from either side.

I will say that despite my not so warm and fuzzy moments on here most women have been very supportive

I will also say that my wife has shown me that there are women who know how to have a healthy relationships and treat a man well and let a man treat her well.

Ummm

hmm..

Ok. their good for handy man stuff. but guys my age suck and don't know how to do anything like change tires, their too concerned about getting their nails dirty.

I love guys who get me.

I could go on and on about the bf, but this thread isn't about him, is it?

I love the brutal honesty and directness that many men approach their interpersonal relationships with, and how they seldom get offended by subtleties. Could just be my demographic (age, culture), but I have found that a rare quality in women I know IRL.

I love everything about you. And I would do anything to please you.

I question if some men on this board would enjoy watching women being stoned to death.

No, sweetheart. This is a civilized country. We leave that kind of violent thinking to the women. ;)

I like when men say positive stuff about women that goes beyond talking about how much they love T&A and women's bodies. If you are a heterosexual man, we kind of already know how much you love the T&A. That's not really saying something positive about women so much.

I like how protective men can be.

I like the way men tease each other to bond.

I like the way men know lots of sports facts and have entire conversations around statistics, player failure or sucesses and the future or past history of a team/franchise.

I like how easy it is for men to get ready to go somewhere.

I like seeing two men hug (non-sexually) when they really clearly love each other.

I like hearing a father call his daughter AND son endearments like "sweetie". It's especially special when it's a son because that's not something my father ever would have done with my brother and it reflects how today's Dad's connect differently with their kids.

Aww, I love your response, DY.

I love how men make me feel safe.

I love how men soften their voice when they talk to a woman.

I love their strength and how creative they are when it comes to fixing things.

This thread, this thread needs reviving.

I like how women can bring out my more emotional and playful side.

Some women can even ease me into situations I wouldn't normally put myself in.

Really, they emit a comforting aura in general. (In my case, so long as I know them a bit)

And not to sound like a perv, but; tight short shorts & women - Drives me wild. :bunny::o
