With all the gender wars on here I figure I would leave thread on a good note before I go away for the week. Please no gender hatred in this thread from either side.

 

I will say that despite my not so warm and fuzzy moments on here most women have been very supportive

 

I will also say that my wife has shown me that there are women who know how to have a healthy relationships and treat a man well and let a man treat her well.

Men save lives,

they comfort wives,

they are the rock, your rock in a storm,

in times of trouble they revert to true form,

they can be your lover dad brother son or best friend,

and be the cause of a heart to break and then also to mend,

and all men are imperfect and have their flaws,

as all women recognize and admit to have in the gender wars,

without men the world would be a sad and desolate place,

for good men are appreciated and impossible to replace.......

There handiness with cars and home projects will always be something I admire, especially since I fail at such things.

 

 

I do appreciate the fact that lots of men have a need to take care of and protect their families. It is a very strong and admirable quality.

In some countries they do, women are being burned alive, stoned, throats slashed, hung, and tortured for imaginary crimes placed on them by men with some of the same thought processes of men on this board. I question if some men on this board would enjoy watching women being stoned to death.

I like when men say positive stuff about women that goes beyond talking about how much they love T&A and women's bodies. If you are a heterosexual man, we kind of already know how much you love the T&A. That's not really saying something positive about women so much.

 

I like how protective men can be.

I like the way men tease each other to bond.

I like the way men know lots of sports facts and have entire conversations around statistics, player failure or sucesses and the future or past history of a team/franchise.

I like how easy it is for men to get ready to go somewhere.

I like seeing two men hug (non-sexually) when they really clearly love each other.

I like hearing a father call his daughter AND son endearments like "sweetie". It's especially special when it's a son because that's not something my father ever would have done with my brother and it reflects how today's Dad's connect differently with their kids.

The greatest gift we can give and receive in this life is love, and there is no better instrument of this emotion than a woman who completes you 100%. If you don't know what the hell I am talking about, either too bad I hope you get there some day, OR too bad your ignorance and ego will negate the chance for such an opportunity to experience what I have in my lifetime. Outside of certain body parts and how good they smell?

 

I guess I admire their femininity. It's the ying to the masculine yang. They complete each other. The softness of a woman's love is the only thing that can smooth the ruggedness of a man. I'm a sucker for girly girls.

I love to see good fathers with their children.

 

My husband struggled with a lot if his own issues through the years but I love watching him with my daughter. He treats her like a precious little jewel, even better than one actually.

 

I love it when men behave like that. The world needs more good fathers and I know a lot more men are capable of it.

They are stronger than us naturally. Love when they cook. Love the softness of there bodies. Love that they can put up with us in general even though we give'em a lot of trouble sometimes.
