robaday Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 What does it mean, if anything, if your dating someone, and they say that they have got hit on the prior weekend? She didnt seem interested in the guy at all, but was still a little weird hearing about it - only been on a couple dates with her, so were not exclusive or anything.

That includes work, friends, interests, etc. I have a lot of guy friends so when I talk about my friend (name) or my one friend (name) and they are all guy names, they ask me "Don't you have any women friends?" And I do have some women friends, but I tend to do things with the guys more. Just an observation, and I certainly would not tell something like "this guy hit on me at a bar last night", or something.

Nobody wants to feel like one of many options.Especially after the other ones didn't work out.

Author robaday Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 Thing is, I assume that girls im just dating get hit on anyway, just not sure why they pass on the information - it happens, i couldnt care less I thought one of three things - a) shes insecure and trying to get a reaction, b) she only sees me as a friend c) shes wondering if im seeing anyone Ah the friend zone, a fate worse than death, just gotta keep clear of that one

It's a major turn-off to me & most of my friends. Especially when i'm just trying to get to know them. It screams insecurity & when i've stuck around these women turned out to be complete trainwrecks. so I don't call. I'd rather be single then listen to a woman validate herself to me by relaying stories of every guy that hits on her. 1

Badsingularity Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 My wife gets hit on and flirted with fairly often when she's at work, so she will often tell me about it just as part of her telling me about her day. Sometimes I'll suggest she go out on a date with one of them or just throw them a bone every once in a while but she always says NOOOOoooooooo.. she only wants me. Poor guys. I agree that when done early on in dating most of the time it is either testing to see how you will react or to let you know that other guys want her. Sometimes though she might just be telling you because it is just something that happened that day.
