Are trickery and deceit all the viable options for a mid 30's virgin?

If I'm up front about it she bolts. If she asks and I'm honest she bolts. There's a single choice remaining and that is lying about it.

Posted

There's also another choice, and that's if she doesn't ask, then don't say anything. Which isn't the same thing as lying even though some people will tell you otherwise.

Ross. One asked on the third meeting and I was honest but she was mad that I deceived her by leaving a very important piece of information out. this was it with her. Am I the oldest virgin on earth at 34?

I only wish this was the worst thing I had to find out when dating someone new.

honestly, yes, you should lie like a rug.

I think that was her with the problem. Whether you're a virgin or not is private, you had only met her twice before confessing. I really don't see it as something that you 'should' admit straight away.

If she get's mad over something like that then she's probably more trouble than she's worth. You've probably dodged a bullet there.

It's not like you had been in a relationship with each other for years.

No. I have 11 years on you, buddy.

I think it would be fun to start a Meetup group named VWA (Virgins With Attitude) just for the hell of it... to give promiscuous people something to laugh at AND be afraid of.

BTW I found an article from 4 years ago about the world's then-oldest virgin... No sex is secret to long life, says 105-year-old Clara, Britain's oldest virgin | Mail Online

No word on whether they kept her in a cage and charged people money to come into the tent to get a look at her.

You know someone who doesn't want to screw everything with legs is much more astonishing and terrifying than dancing elephants or even the bearded woman.

Did she ask of your past experiences or did she ask specifically if you are a virgin ?

As for this girl, she was looking for a reason to bolt or she was just plain nuts.

PS: Virgin untill shortly before my 25th bday, i said 'such things are not said' when she asked about my past sexual experience.

This may sound as weird coming from a guy, but the thought of that nutcase being my 1st somewhat sickens me, good thing she doesn't know she was my 1st. :p

I totally agree.

The thing is, did they ask why?

If all they care about is that you have been a virgin up to this point in time, without asking why, you dodged a bullet.

If they at least care enough to ask and listen to why (as long as your reason is a sane and reasonable explanation) then go for these girls. No need to lie.

Depends on your demographic to be honest. I wouldn't tell the truth yet, but I wouldn't make up a lie either. If asked, be honest, but don't be glum or nervous about it. Say it confidently and nonchalantly, like it doesn't even matter.

Some people feel like they need a reason to bail on you. Like they need some justification. I wouldn't worry about the ones that "get mad first" then leave. It's their way of reconciling with themselves for making the decision to bail out. And people that need to do that... well, let's just say that's a negative trait. And dodging people with negative traits are never a bad thing, whether you are virgin or not.

Lying is a possibility, but I would keep that as the last resort. There are women out there that will be willing to overlook that (extremely rare), or help you remove the curse of virginity (less rare, but still rare). You will be dropped a lot, it will be a serious blow to your self esteem, but nothing you can't recover from after your dating normalizes.

So my suggestion is go for it, all the time. Don't be picky. Don't be thinking "relationship", think "anything". Go to bars. Hang out with the drunk chicks that stick around after last call. Just have a good time, don't expect anything, and don't say no. Eventually something should happen. Really, all you need is one casual sex encounter, then the curse is removed.

After that, you'll be considered "normal", although still inexperienced. But the only way to cure inexperience is experience. Eventually you'll normalize, and you'll be in the same boat as the rest of us.

there is one huge, gigantic problem about lying about it

She'll easily find out when you last 15 seconds in intercourse. If you can lie about it and somehow get away with that lie, then obviously there's nothing wrong with it

She was mad that I didn't tell her sooner. Does she want me to broadcast it? I don't even tell friends. extremely rare a lady will overlook it. wonderful, how wonderful.

Look, man. Sitting around going on about how you're in trouble forever isn't going to help matters. Obviously I don't think it'd make sense to just come right out and tell her you're a virgin. It's a tough position to be in--not going to claim otherwise.

Still, that shouldn't stop you from trying. If it comes up, just tell her you haven't been in many relationships or something along those lines. You don't need to outright tell her you're a virgin.

II do not sit at home all day but being open and honest isn't producing results. A couple of short makeout sessions at 34. woah what a stud. tough, ya got that completely right.

Only lasting 15 secs in intercourse doesn't have to mean you're a virgin, it could just mean that it's been a long time since you ****ed someone, or maybe you just suffer from premature ejaculation anyway.
