RedRobin Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Sometimes people act one way in private and another way in public. I recently nexted two men after observing how they behaved in public and around friends after what appeared to be a promising first conversation/phone call.
Author irc333 Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 A person that likes to joke around about things that make other people inexplicably uncomfortable is not a bad person. I don't know how you would define "bad" person, however, let's say if it doesn't make them a "bad" person, but it's someone I wouldn't want to associate with on a personal level. I've known also guys to burp loudly around people while in front of his girlfriend at a public restaurant while other mixed company is seated around him at a Sushi restaurant to think he's being cute. I'd be embarrassed to call him/her my sig. other. But who cares, after all, he's cute, right?
Author irc333 Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 OH, this reminds me, to give a very GOOD example. I remember seeing the TV show "Elimidate" Where there was this one girl that had 5 guys going out with her at once, kind of like "The Bachelorette" but all crammed into a half hour show. It was down to two guys, one was a relatively decent gentleman. Well mannered. And then there was the jerk-wad. They were all 3 in a hot tub together, the jerk wad decides to be cute, takes off his swim trunks, and throws it out of the hot tub. You see where his groin is blurred out...and he's wiggling his "y ou know what" in her face. And the other guy was like dumfounded he had the guts to do this, esp. on national TV. At the end of the show, guess who she picked? The pervert Of course, he just was just lightening up, not the boring "stiff" in the jacuzzi next to him.

That's only because the segments where the 'boring' guy got the girl doesn't make great ratings. Kind of like life... people notice what is easy to notice. The people who are walking around quietly enjoying their lives don't get noticed... even though (I bet) there are tons more of those than there are the rowdy-a-holes with ballroom dancing classy girlfriends.
carhill Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 There is the challenge of taming the undisciplined little boy
carhill Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Yet lots of boring guys are married and raising the next generation
Author irc333 Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Well that's different, thinking burping or farting is funny is just childish vulgarity. However, busting your balls about being her ex-boyfriend is funny (to me). Some people like to get a rise out of people, but they wouldn't exist if a stiff upper lip like yourself wasn't so entertaining to troll. Or perhaps my style of humor is different than his.
