zengirl Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 See, Zengirl? Now, no more playing oblivious. What suggests that guy doesn't really believe that? He's entitled to his belief, even if I disagree with it. Generally, I wouldn't suggest the idea that women are the weaker sex and combining them with children in their weakness curries much favor with the ladies these days, though I don't think he really meant it that way. He was probably just raised to believe that. I'm not sure who he's currying favor with though. TW liked his original post - perhaps he thought TW was a hot lady. If he did, the joke was on him since TW is a dude. I agree with fish, though, that it's highly irrelevant anyway. 1

That type of post represents most guys. I can see children (boy or girl) getting priority and special treatment, but most guys treat women like adult children. Even women want to be treated like adult children. I mean.... there's a topic with over 900 posts full of broke women who feel like they're entitled to another person taking care of them based on gender. Giving special or easier treatment based on gender is what a white knight is.

Agreed I don't like the misogyny on this forum at all The misogynists on this forum will call anybody who doesn't agree with their views a white knight when in reality I've always been very moderate in my views of this stuff. Kind of like how republicans will call anybody a sissy liberal for not agreeing with their extreme views on certain things

Juvenile and pathetic.
Author aRealMan Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Calling someone a white knight is a shaming device, intended to ensure that men won't stand up for their values against misogyny. Calling someone a white knight is letting someone know that they're a p*ssy worshipper who go out of their way to get validation from women. Even if it means bashing their own gender as seen in the quoted post above. It's weird how suggesting equality in every aspect of life is called misogyny. It really is "lights out" for American males. They're nothing more than spineless brown-nosers, now.

You literally made a topic bashing males that aren't "manly and confident" and then later admitted that you're issues with women are that you're "too shy". In essence, you went out of your way to bash your own gender looking for validation. Even nicomis called you out for it.

They're nothing more than spineless brown-nosers, now. You do pretty much have equality nowadays - there are certain aspects of society that are not equal (for example men having to always approach) and those things do suck but they're not that big of a deal When it comes to people actually in relationships, you do have equality

I was bashing males who whine and complain about their "niceness" being the reason they got dumped when it's because they act like sissies. That's not me being misandrist - that's just reality of the situation Yes I'm a little shy and I do struggle sometimes in the dating world because of that but I'm not out there blaming women for it. I take responsibility for my failures unlike 99% of "nice guys" who blame the rest of the world for their short comings People treat you the way you allow them to treat you, both for men and women
brahmabull117 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 You should go to family court and get custody from a woman who isn't a crack addict who frequently pimps out her children to pay for her addiction, then you'll see the equality in all its glory. Stop with the extreme examples for Christ's sake. Almost all the relationships I know are pretty close to equal

It's "reality" when someone bashes males, and it's accepted -- maybe even encouraged. But, when it goes the other way (even when it's truthful), all of the insecure broads and their whiteknight brown-nosers want to play the misogyny card. Open your eyes people. For the love of all that is good.
brahmabull117 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 You'll understand when you're older and you've seen a few divorces close up. I will say though that I'm very very much against divorces that allow women to take 50% of man's earnings no matter how accomplished she is We should have some sort of a system and figure out how much money the woman could have made if she didn't get married and then reward her a percentage of the man's income based on that I don't have a problem with 2 doctors splitting their incomes in a divorce but A waitress marrying a guy making 150,000 a year shouldn't get half his money in a divorce, that's completely outrageous

For the love of all that is good. The difference is that my male bashing was aimed at a small percentage of guys who act that way Your female bashing is aimed at the entire gender, even when most young girls I know nowadays feel it to be perfectly fine to contribute in their dating costs for example Don't bash the entire gender, that's what drives us so called "white knights" crazy
brahmabull117 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 No, we shouldn't. Men shouldn't have to pay for past use of a vagina. Alimony made sense in a time where women couldn't get their own careers. If a female doctor becomes a housewife when she could have been earning 150,000 a year then she does deserve to be properly compensated for that in the case of a divorce Obviously if it's a waitress marrying a man who makes 200,000 a year then it should be more like maybe 10% of his money. She should get whatever her lost income was as a result of marrying him

I've never seen you once go after any posts that take jabs at males. And I didn't even bash the whole female gender. I said "why are guys whiteknights" This was aimed at males. I'll say what's real, and it can be aimed at both genders. You, and the rest of this forums will only bash males and save every female you can. You've even been called a whiteknight in your own topic by someone esle. You're just in denial
MrCastle Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Because those men think that's how you land a girl. Like her facebook statuses, comment on her pictures, and if you do that enough eventually she'll take her panties off for you. It's a flawed way of thinking and it's sad that guys are willing to lay down, sometimes throwing their whole gender under the bus, just for the chance to get laid. Chick: Ugh, all men are pigs. Guy she'll never bang: I know, you're right. You gotta be careful, most guys are only after one thing. You deserve so much better. Chick: Aww thanks. Guy she'll never bang: Hey you want to go to the movies or something? Chick: Oh I wish I could but I have a date with (guy who falls under "pig" category) 1
