I think that is what most women are looking for. And I wonder how many married women out there actually see or still see thier husband this way.

They can be either the man a woman wants to marry or the man a woman wants to have sex with and the two will never meet and that it is much better for a man to be the one she wants to have sex with because she will treat him much better. Is this true. Your new colleague is a retard Woggle. You do know yourself that people are much more complicated than what he thinks. Clearly he doesn't know how to pick a good woman and doesn't want anyone else to succeed either. If I ever got married again it would be to someone I find incredibly sexy because I would want us to have our wicked ways with each other well into our 70s The kind of man I find sexy is the strong, bright, reliable type who knows who he is and who knows what he wants. Someone who would be my partner through thick and thin.

I'm in full agreement with your motivations when it comes to settling down with a LT partner, and I agree with you that this collegue's assesment of how men have to play one of 2 characters is a gross simplification....but while you think like you do, there are plenty of women who don't and do the 'I've have my fun, now its time to settle down' routine, and change from one these character types to the other when its time to marry or late 30s. As others have said its ideal to be a shade in between the 2 extremes.

The sexy attractive ones that are not good relationship material(because they don't know how to be) and the good husband, nice, safe, yet not realy magnetic types that know how to be good in a relationship but haven't quite figured out how to turn women on. A man can be both though. You just don't find as many in this category because it is not an easy balancing act to pull off and it requires the know how to be attractive to women and the know how to be good in a relationship. This is the type of man that most women are looking for. 2
