i just had a dream of my ex...

it took place many years down the line. Much has changed and we were catching up at her parent's old place. for some odd reason, the first day i was there, we were just chit chatting away and i ended up sleeping over that night on the same bed as her, but nothing intimate or affectionate, just as friends. The next day, we woke up and she had this look on her face like she used to have every morning, but then quickly jumped out of bed (she looked more shocked after a few seconds of having that look).

After taking our time preparing ourselves in the morning, thats when we started to have the talk of what has happened in our lives. I mentioned how I've been busy with work and I've graduated both undergrad and graduate school. Then, when i ask about her, she always changes the subject. I try again to find out more information about her, but it fails. Then i ask her if she ever dated anyone I've told her that she would have dated if i wasn't in the picture and she just stopped, looked at me with a straight face, and then i woke up.

The feeling i have after having this dream is ridiculous... all i want to do is break NC now and make an attempt to not let it become like this dream, but i know its futile and will not break NC. I was doing better for the past week, not really remembering dreams anymore and have been sleeping a bit longer lately, than this dream happened...

Sorry, guess i just needed to vent this out of my system... thanks for reading.

PS: my first ex's 2 little brothers were there at her house because they work together. it was WEIRD... haha

PPS: the BU happened 5 weeks ago and NC for 4 weeks.

All I can say about dreams is that they happen. They don't need to mean anything and are to be managed the same way as any other thought about the ex. Let it go and try to have a happy day.
