Mount Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 As I mentioned me broke off the MM last Friday and so far the no contact is good. But we work in the same organization but won't need to see each other on daily basis. However as he is so senior we always need to get help from him, so I did request through company's message system and he provided the information that I want. Meantime he was asking how I am doing I replied I am ok but not good trying to hold up doing the right thing for myself. I can not believe he's saying "I am always here if you need to talk" (!). Also he told me he was numb and tried to work busily to distract himself. Finally I reinforce that there has no talk req'd between us, only professional contact/talk if need to. What the %^& is that? How come those kind of people so heartless. Wasn't all the mess starting from "talk" between us, what he is thinking. Before you bring up, I can not leave the current employment at all. Also if the NC continues well, I will still respect him in mind, otherwise back and forth again he is really a bad guy.

Don't worry about his responses or in reading into the communications. Good jobs are hard to find, and IMO the biggest challenge of all is in proceeding in a professional manner after an on-the-job affair. Focus on your work. Expand on it if need be.
